"*this review is for the "new" steakhouse alter krug. The food was bad. I ordered a Käsespätzle that didn't taste like a Käsespätzle. My boyfriend ordered a rib eye steak. He had to tell the waitress he wanted it medium because she didn't ask how he wanted the steak done. The steak was overcooked in a frying pan, was really thin, overly salty and dry. We had to order our drinks twice and she didn't even remember that we had already ordered and were waiting for 10 minutes. The staff was inexperienced and our waitress couldn't calculate our bill properly. Overall a terrible experience. We won't be going back there. It used to be a great restaurant with real schwäbisch food and now it's a terrible wannabe steakhouse & beer place. Also, it has worst beer than it did before.Very disappointed."

"Wg der guten Bewertungen ausprobiert - was für ein Blender!!Hotel durch Lage an der vielbefahrenen Straße extrem laut. Zimmergrösse mickrig, Sauberkeit nur in Ansätzen vorhanden - und viel zu teuer für die gebotene Leistung.Restaurant mit aufgepoppter schwäbisch orientierter Karte - mit einigen Pseudo-mediterranen Entgleisungen bittet Max das, was jede Wirtschaft bietet - nur auf größeren Tellern und doppelt so teuer.Service extrem schnippisch - zumindest zu Einmal-Gästen, die unbekannt sind. Geschlossen wird nach Lust und Laune, egal ob 21.30, 22.00 oder 23.00 Uhr - die verbliebenen Gäste werden hinaus- bzw aufs Zimmer komplimentiert - man hat ja so nen langen Tag usw.Kurz: abzockerbude für chef mit Sekretärin. Schrecklich"

Gerichte waren geschmacklos, Gemüse in den Nudeln bestand aus 3 Karottenstreifen, Ente mit komisch saurem Geschmack und mehr als tot frittiert und dazu kommt eine sehr unfreundliche Bedienung. "auf dem Rückweg von unserer ersten Kalabrienreise suchten wir was zu Essen in Autobahnnähe. Sizilianisch klang gut und wir wurden nicht enttäuscht.Obwohl das Lokal wegen einer Familienfeier wirklich voll war, wurden wir bestens bedient, haben absolut leckeres Essen bekommen (2 tolle Pizzen, Tagliatelle mit Pistazien) und uns tatsächlich wie Freunde des Hauses gefühlt. Sollten wir mal wieder in der Gegend sein, würden wir auf jeden Fall wieder hier essen."

"We stayed at the Hotel Aurelia for one night for a special reason and therefore ate in the Maja restaurant. We sat nicely (quite seriously... , the service was very, very friendly, natural, relaxed and motivated. The menu is small, but with a good selection. And my salad with chicken breast was delicious, I was even able to express my wishes regarding the composition beforehand, so it came without corn and beans. Nice! My wife ordered the loins. And she liked them so much and were so tender that I almost didn 't eat anything (but I didn 't want to do more than try them because she thought it was so great ; On the other hand, you have to know that in our family a certain salmon tartare from a now closed restaurant in Konstanz has a legendary reputation. If something is REALLY good, it 's almost as good as the salmon tartare... or something like that. And these loins, according to my wife, were just as good as... I wouldn 't have expected that again this decade. So: my wife was really excited! And I would like to announce that here :"
