"my favorite pizza is and was always pizza express american hot. the introduction of the Romana base has only improved it. when chili decisions were added, it took me and I tried them all. I hated the sweet red, but I liked the hot green. the original jalapenos are still the best, but they can add in the hot green. I took care of it when I ordered my pizza express american hot pizza yesterday. there was no mention of the hatched red chilis and I ordered jalopinos with extra hot greens. I thought that red was gone to get unwanted. Imagine my disappointment when my pizza came into the terrible sweet little red chili and spoiled the taste completely. Yeah, it was a good pizza, it wasn't what I wanted. I have reported this, but did not receive feedback (the lack of feedback was previously a problem in this restaurant, even in asking the bigger concern.) other problems: the adult Margarita pizza is a completely different quality to the children, and since we both had it was noticeable and caused dissatisfaction. it is a scandal when the restaurants rob children with less food; the service, often slow, was quite uncomfortable (although the staff was polite and friendly enough), menus, drinks and eating were all very slow arriving, and the staff have an inability to act when problems are applied; popular items were not available. a thing to note: pizza express fee service of 12.5% if the table exists (I forget, maybe six plus adult.) we did not reach this limit, however, have decided to pay 10% which was generous among the circumstances. it's not that I can go to the kitchen myself. the available app will place its order, but the signal is low, and wifi is not functional. taking the phone into the street worked best. when we eat in abingdon, I take my chance back to ask. the team is fantastic, the service is attentive and overall wonderful. they also make wonderful garnel and lasagne. I miss the american hot."

we try to eat here time before we go to the Abbey cinema, but often we leave it in the last minute, but the staff is always super helpful to finish our order. love the chicken pasta.

very good visit today! very clean restaurant and friendly atmosphere. efficient service and good food. that would normally not expect from the chain. thanks to james and aga for our visit a special!

my partner always says that pizza express from restaurant to restaurant is very different and I fear that is on the poor side. Moreover, they gave me a superfluous disposable plastic guide in my limonade and did not seem to get why this could not be such a good idea. Visualizza piatti

Usually love Pizza Express, been going years to the different stores this one needs closing down, the wait for food is far too long, he staff, especially the manager is awful and it doesn't live up to any of the other ones I have...been to. The garden could be nice but needs lots of work doing to it.

we have built a combined table of over 20 people, pre-ordered and asked for separate calculations that could fulfill management despite an oral agreement. I had to pay 500 pounds for all the guests. I've been a customer for over 30 years, but I'm not gonna be back. good food, good service, mismanagement.

Tasty but so slow!!! Child’s birthday pizza and ice cream. All the food is fresh and tasty but 2 hours in and still not finished. Waited 50 minutes for the pizzas to arrive. All the staff are very friendly but things clearly don’t work properly....It wasn’t busy but is now, so I pity the other diners for how long they will have to wait! Visualizza piatti

the workers were about veganism and ready and in the position to custom pizzas I had a delicious cheese less pizza with olive and mushrooms because I was not in the mood for cheese, but vegetable cheese are available. the overall quality was good and the portion size is large; if they can't make pizza, it's no problem to take the rest with them.

Possibly the worst pizza I have ever eaten. Kids pizzas arrived with almost no Mozzarella on them, just a pizza base full of soggy tomato base with a few slices of pepperoni scattered across them. Complaint dealt with by manager but the replacement pizzas were...no better. Our 2 other pizzas were also a soggy mess loaded with tomato base and all other toppings just fell off. Surely in this day, with all the competition out there, you would try to go above and beyond!
