"As we arrived we were told the group was too big (7 of us) and they might not have space as they were already really busy and would have to check with manager. The young girl went to check and come back and told us yea it’s fine but next time make sure you book as they are really busy, during our time there was hardly anyone else in the restaurant. Maybe 4 other tables at the beginning and then 1 other as we left so I’m not sure what that was about. The food was good and come quickly, the salad cart was nice apart from the lettuce which looked like it had been sat out for the last 4 days. All in all was ok and would probably go back but I would like the choice of being able to order through the QR code on the table or ordering as normal from waiting staff and paying with card or cash at the end of the meal. There was pizza in the sink the whole time we were there so toilets are not checked as often as you think, just a few things to work on and it would be a lot better."

We had a lovely Buffett here when we visited in April with lots of selection. The staff were welcoming and attentive. Would return.

What a wonderful waitress is pocket dynamo Summer. So genuine, so kind. As for the food… the G.O.A.T. pizza is rather fine, if a bit overpriced. Their soft drinks at £3.69 are way way way WAY overpriced…!! Oh and before ending this review… a word of praise for Austin, the outstanding shift manager. With staff like Austin and Summer, Pizza Hut are clearly doing something right.

Dirty, (tables/walls/floor/seating) staff were 50/50 some tried some didn't bother, decor is tatty, ladies toilet had no soap (also the same toilet staff use, go figure) when I mentioned it, was told to use the disabled one. Food was greasy too much oil. Salad bar was unappealing with food in layers on the floor. Assistant manageress seemed more interested in chatting to her visiting family/friends than address the hygiene issues or lack of. Won't be going back. Visualizza piatti

We had the lunch time buffet, pasta from salad bar not being replenished. Pizza was few and far between, 1 pizza coming out at a time. 10 minute wait between pizzas coming out. A terribly poorly run establishment, from waiters through to chefs. Dirty tables, **** food, expensive drinks. I felt embarrassed to have chosen to come here, i felt sorry for my children. I felt so sorry for them ive since had to make it up to them. If it was up to me i wouldnt have paid but my other half wouldn't let me.

As soon as I walked in, I was informed that payment was only accepted through card and that I had to order using the app. After being shown how to use it, everything went smoothly. The buffet had a very limited selection consisting of 2 chicken pizzas, 1 pepperoni, and 1 vegetarian option with tomato sauce and cheese, all of which were only lukewarm. My tea was cold, so I asked for a replacement, but the second cup was barely any hotter. The restaurant was nearly deserted. I have no plans to return in the future.

Visited yesterday with my daughter and family. We ordered through the app. The waitress advised us that as we were only guests having buffet at that time we could request pizzas we liked. We requested hawaian and spicy chicken. Unfortunately the same three pizzas cheese vegetable and pepperoni kept coming up for the first hour until finally my husband spoke to the manager and the ones we had requested finally came up on the pass. The salad bar was clean and tidy and well filled. The waitress kindly got us smarties for the kids ice cream and was attentive. Was just a shame we had to wait over an hour for requested pizza. I visited a restaurant in Clacton on Sea today and initially placed my order using the mobile phone app. Everything was fine until I reached the payment stage and was directed to a website called mediacraze. After entering my card details, I realized I had unknowingly subscribed to a fraudulent website. I had to contact my bank and cancel my debit card to prevent future payments. A staff member eventually took our order after seeing our troubles with the app. Be cautious when using the mobile app as it is not secure. A reputable company like Pizza Hut should ensure such incidents do not occur. The food was average, but I couldn't fully enjoy it due to concerns about my bank account.

We arrived at 2:50 on a sunny Sunday and were greeted by a friendly manager at the restaurant. There were only 4 other people there. We were seated and informed that we could order via a QR code or a server would come to our table soon. We noticed a buffet section with plenty of pizzas behind us. However, when our server, Tom, came over, he informed us that the buffet was no longer available as it stops at 3 pm. We pointed out that it was only 2:55, but he mentioned getting told off last time for allowing it after 3. We asked for some time to decide, but after speaking with the manager and receiving no satisfactory explanation, we decided to leave and find another place to eat. Tom apologize...

"We came as a group of 10 for my Mother in Laws 60th birthday, and I must say it was a shambles. Please let me say, that we have been many times prior to this and have had excellent food and fantastic service, so not sure what has happened. Firstly, my Father in Law had to pay a deposit for 12 of us, which was absolutely fine, however, one of those was for a baby who would not have been eating. Unfortunately the mother and baby were unable to attend due to illness, so we lost £10 of the deposit. I would like to Firstly ask, why was we charged for a baby, who was never going to be eating? Secondly, we asked for a pitcher of beer, and when this was served, we were given 3 (out of 4) of the most dirtiest glasses. The beer from previous drinkers was still in the bottom, hence the staining of brown at the bottom of the glass. This is totally unacceptable, and this could actually cause serious health issues to people drinking from them. The waitress brought the first two starters out, prawn cocktails, and dumped it infront of a parson who didn 't even order it, and even after we told her who they were for, just left it there.....would you not have picked this up and actually served it to the correct person? The prawn cocktails came out on a slate and as much as this was very nicely presented, knowing that someone with only the use of one arm had ordered this, it would have been a better option to put this on a plate, so food could be scraped to the edge of the plate and picked up. Rather than a husband having to put his fork up against his wife 's and juggle getting the food on. That 's just a food for thought, incase you have anyone else in this position in the future. We then had the mains served. Out of the 10 orders, were four full racks of ribs. One of these came out as a half. We asked the waitress if this was correct and she said, sorry, she would get the other half out. This came out AFTER the person had finsihed their dinner, which meant they had to take this away in a take away box. Seemed like there was no urgency to correct the error immediately. The burgers, I am sorry to say, are an actual joke. The burgers themselves looked like the small ones you get from Iceland. But yet, are being charged at nearly £14. That was shocking. The chips, were edible, but burnt. And again, please think about putting it on a plate (or atleast asking the person eating it what they would prefer) and not a wooden chopping board. A chopping board is for chopping after all...... We then asked for our cake to come out, so we could sing happy birthday and blow the candles out. We got told yes no problem, but you will be charged £2 per person for eating there at no point had we mentioned we wanted to eat it there and had actually already mentioned this prior to handing over the cake. We opted not to have a dessert as we felt quite deflated to be honest. When the bill came out, I asked if the 3 for 2 drinks had been deducted and she said no, thats only Friday 's . I think you need to make that clearer on your menu, as it just states Monday... Tuesday...etc and the Friday 's. But your drinks deal just says Evenings you need to amend that to specifically say Friday evenings as it is in fact false advertisement on your part. The bill came up, minus the £50 deposit (still baffled why you charged £5 for a baby) and to my surprise a £27 service charge. I asked for this to be removed, as I find this quite shocking to put on any bill. A service charge is not a given, it is a discretion by those who are paying. You cannot expect anyone to pay a service charge if they feel the service has not been up to scratch. As I previously said above, we have been here multiple times before and always had great service and exceptional food. Last night, just was not the same. It is a shame, as we come here for birthdays and we will be thinking twice now, due to the above."
