"Stopped at the Cafe de Paris at 5pm in 35 degree weather desperate for a cold beer. Sat myself outside near the door so that I would get noticed. Or so I thought. The place was maybe 20% busy, so the waiter was hardly rushed off his feet, but he had the 1,000 yard stare . Walked past me multiple times but impossible to attract his attention. So I eventually left to try my luck elsewhere. It 's a shame, a few years ago The Cafe de Paris was pretty decent."

"A very good time shared with family on Saturday night. Very good value for money Our daughter enjoyed her first steak tartare. Sir and our eldest loved their meat with a delicious pepper sauce. Blue cooking has been respected what is very appreciated. The wolf with its risotto and its small vegetables were divine The desserts were excellent: enjoyoles, iced nozzles or 4 cheese tray. "Pour les amateurs de pirates c'est un endroit très bien décoré. Et si vous aimez les crêpes bretonnes, elles les font très bien et accompagnées d'un bon cidre. La pizza, bien que réalisée au feu de bois, est à la française (avec du fromage frais), les enfants ont apprécié. La fille qui servait était très gentille."

"If you 're tired of traffic on the coast, the crowds in Cannes or St Tropez, head into the hills above Les Arcs. In Lorgues, a gem of a small town, there is this gem of a restaurant. €19.50 each bought me and my wife lunch...of three courses and included wine and coffee. The restaurant prides itself and has a sign up declaring the fact that it prepares all its own food the fries with our main dish for example were home made, not the oven chips you seem to see everywhere. The starter bar, 'as much as you can eat ' (as was the dessert bar) had the likes of langouste, roast peppers, greek style mushrooms as well as the more usual salad food. This quality at that price, as well as friendly service it still seems hard to believe!"
