Playa - Menu

Gorgeous place to sit in the sun, enjoy good food and wine. It’s a decent menu, but we opted for the prawns in garlic oil and a tuna salad. All excellent, washed down by a bottle of Vina Sol at a decent price.

all very well butoofalta personal,two waiters for so many people is not normal, do what they can but will be exhausted I don't think they can stop or drink water and still try to be in a good mood (thank you), it's a pity, the place is great

Sitio espectacular, comida calidad precio perfecta. Segundo día allí y salimos encantados con todo Lo mejor el servicio del camarero loris, agradable, amable y súper majo. Como sitio espectacular alado de la playa y un sitio muy bueno para saltar desde allí al mar. Volveremos seguro. Gracias por tratar a la gente así de bien.

Abbiamo pranzato quasi sempre in questo piccolo posticino di fronte al mare per una settimana, tra un'immersione e l'altra! È diventato uno dei nostri posti preferiti, per la posizione ma soprattutto per i piatti super di pesce appena pescato. Chi ha commentato negativamente il personale probabilmente si è fermato alla prima apparenza, perché tutti i camerieri sono stati fantastici e simpaticissimi con noi appena siamo entrati in confidenza. Ci dispiace andare via!

We just loved this casual dining served by 2 amazing waiters. Emilio and Jose were just fantastic which made our experience fabulous. Fish was divine variety of fish was sublime. The ladies had prawns and mushrooms the vest ever. We had been to expensive restaurant in vicinity but this experience was far superior. So much so we ate here 3 times for dinner and couple of . I times for lunch. Wonderful atmosphere and great irish coffeexx. Thank you for the best fun and service

I visited this bar with my brother a surprising number of times during our two week holiday. Our first visit we just had a beer each (my brother two) but the second or third time we tried some food. My brother had a pizza and I had the Spanish omelette. Both were very nice. Next visit I had the pizza which again was great with a lovely thin and crispy base. My brother just had a couple of beers. Another visit we both tried the spaghetti bolognese. Don 't say 'Spag Bol ' like my brother did as the waiter won 't understand! Again, very nice and just the right amount. We have visited Bar Playa a few times over the years. I've read the reviews from early 2022 and we too were turned away as the Bar closed at 5pm due to Covid restrictions and felt more than peeved. This year we returned and hoped for the best all was well again. We went back a few nights around sunset for food and drinks. Food is served up to 9 or 10pm although there isn't much passing trade in the darkness. The waiters are professional and don't appear to speak much English, but we were served promptly and the food was good prices reasonable. Absolute diamond of a find! All the gentlemen that worked there were welcoming and made the experience all the better. Rustic place with unbelievable views and we were delighted that we stumbled across it. The octopus was the best I ever tasted and the Advocado and prawns were sensational. The portions are large so we couldn’t eat more sadly and the dishes we had were from the starter menu. We were only in lanzerote for 3 days or we would have returned. Had dinner in Bar Playa on Sunday night (24/3/24) Having visited Bar Playa many times years ago and had some pretty average food, I was recommended dinner there and wasn't disappointed. From the moment I stepped in the restaurant, I could tell it was going to be a different experience than I'd previously had years before.
