"A very friendly waitress welcomed us, we had ordered a vineronne for 6 people and a meat on slate for 1 person, it was the first time we had been to this pretty little restaurant but frankly we are really disgusted with the owner. In this restaurant the customer is not Kings, you should definitely not ask for an additional fondue pot if you only receive one for 2 tables! We kindly asked the waitress if we could have a second one since there were 6 of us and 2 children seated at 2 different tables, the waitress kindly told us that she was going to ask the boss, a few seconds later the boss arrived like a sick woman and tells us that it’s a fondue for everyone! All you have to do is you will all be at the same table and if you don't like it you can leave immediately! So immediately in a military tone eat you or do you leave? Sorry but we were shocked and we responded! We're not eating anymore, it's taken away our appetite, so have a good evening and see you ever again. We were thrown out like messy without having eaten after more than 2 hours of waiting. For me personally, the boss should not work in the restaurant business or she should go and learn politeness classes because she has no manners."

"Quand bien même notre réservation Internet n'avait elle pas été confirmée un coup de téléphone est préférable selon le restaurateur avons été accueillis chaleureusement. Le patron a rapidement trouvé la solution. Tout était parfait en cette nouvelle belle journée d'été. Notre serveuse a été super et attentionnée. Nous y reviendrons à coup sûr. "After our closed to 2hr train ride from Gstaad to Montreux, our tour group came by this restaurant for our lunch break before heading to Tasch. The restaurant is huge and spacious, bright because of the window panes that provided a great scenery for diners with the lake, mountain views, the sky, clouds and there's even a windmill out there. And there's also alfresco sitting. The restaurants offered a good range of food, be it meats, burgers, spaghetti, salads, desserts, drinks etc. Prices were reasonable by Swiss standard. And you collect the food at the respective counter and then pay at the central cashier. As we had a heavy breakfast, we decided to have something light for lunch which we ordered grilled chicken and strawberry cheesecakes. The foods were overall nice (though the chicken were a little over salty for me). There's also a coop mini-supermarket where you could grab some fingerfood or drinks but do take note that the prices here were slightly higher than at other outlets. And do note that you will need to pay to use the washroom and it's automatic gate (1 euro)."

"Je ne suis pas là pour dénigrer le travail des restaurateurs, bien au contraire. Mais la critique permet de s 'améliorer, à condition d 'exprimer son ressenti. Une note de 5 est absolument déplacée pour cet établissement et celles et ceux qui l 'ont mis sont certainement des amis. Le lundi, c 'est grillades pour tout le monde. En compagnie d 'un couple d 'amis, nous avons pris place à une table avec des bancs sis à l 'extérieur. Nous étions apparemment les seuls étrangers les autres étant à première vue des habitués locaux. Après avoir bu une bière servie par une charmante et efficace serveuse, nous avons décidé de nous approché du grilleur (patron), vu que personne ne semblait vouloir s 'occuper de nous. Nous avons rejoint nos places avec nos assiettes, contenant 2 tranches de boeuf bien grillé et solides sous la dent, vu qu 'il était tenu au chaud depuis plusieurs minutes. Alors que nous mangions, la patronne est tout à coup sortie de sa léthargie, a mis les couverts aux trois autres tables et a même servi les assiettes. Quant au dessert, qui consistait à des morceaux d 'ananas (bons) nous avons pu constater que la ration servie aux locaux était près du double. A-t-elle compris de que étions vaudois et pas les bienvenus dans son estaminet? Peut-être. Comment être étonné que notre hôtellerie fonctionne mal, lorsqu 'on voit que l 'accueil à la clientèle est tout simplement déplorable. Pour faire la gueule, mieux faut éviter le service. J 'ose espérer que nous soyons tombé sur un mauvais jour , ce que j 'espère de tout coeur. Heureusement que le personnel est admirable. En donnant une note de 3, c 'est encore trop, mais il faisait très chaud..."
