"Punjab is centrally located just 2 minutes from the Mühlburger Tor tram stop. When you enter the restaurant you feel like in India. The beautiful ambience in Punjab ensures a cozy and relaxed atmosphere. In summer you can sit comfortably outside. The food is freshly prepared and of very high quality, not to compare with the Indian around the corner. It's almost all homemade, like the traditional Indian fresh cheese. A rich selection of Indian specialties, including drinks, makes every friend of the Far Eastern cuisine beat the heart higher. The vegetarian dishes and the Tandoori specialities are highly recommended. Prices are only fair and appropriate for the quality they have achieved. The Punjab is worth a visit for almost every occasion, whether a birthday party, a company party or just a cozy meeting with friends and family. It's a restaurant to feel comfortable."

I personally visited the restaurant and ordered a take away. The ordered item was Chicken Tikka Masala. The ambience of the restaurant was quite good. I did not have any experience about the staff being rude. The service time took quite long, that is one...area the restaurant should actively work upon. It may be owing to the flood of orders they receive. When you are at the restaurant, make sure you have ample time. The tikka masal was prepared well.The price is definitely on the higher side.All in all a good experience and can be visited for special occasions.
