"I am extremely disappointed with the service. I waited 2.5 hours only to be informed that my food was out for delivery and wouldn’t be long. After another 30 minutes with still no food, I learned my meal had been with the driver for over half an hour before arriving cold. This is unacceptable. The staff seemed utterly indifferent, and the driver just laughed it off. I used to order from this restaurant frequently, but after this experience, I question their standards. Think twice before ordering takeaway from here. Service: Delivery."

The food was absolutely delicious, and I highly recommend it! I dined in for dinner, and the price per person was around £30–40. Both the food and service received a perfect score of 5, and the atmosphere was equally outstanding. If you visit, I highly recommend trying the Balti Chicken Tandoori.

My dinner here was one of the best Indian meals I've had in the last 10 years. The flaming lamb served with house special rice was delicious.The meat was top quality and cooked to perfection.The flavours were so delicious that they lifted my spirits and took me to a happy place. "There was a slight wait between our starters and main courses, but to be fair, the restaurant was very busy at the time. However, the wait was definitely worth it. Miller and Carter are well-known for their steak, and I can see why—my rump steak was cooked to perfection. I began my meal with a bowl of carrot soup, which was hot and delicious. I hadn't initially planned to order it, but our server recommended it, and I was glad I took their advice. For dessert, I had the apple and rhubarb crumble with custard, which was simply divine. I highly recommend this restaurant!"

"Came for my mother's 65th birthday on Thursday evening and wow I was very impressed with the pub what a gorgeous place, we was greater by Donna who was fantastic very engaging and down to earth. We all had starters black pudding stack mushrooms fishcake and prawn cocktail for the birthday girl she was very impressed with the amount if prawns, my Stilton mushrooms where unreal I had a ribeye for main which again was unreal cooked to perfection. The kids had chips cheese and gravy and loved every bit with ice cream after. Unfortunately we never had any room left for dessert but will deffo be back for the famous roast they do and hopefully fit a dessert in then."

"Dog friendly pub area with a lovely fireplace. The food was great! We had pea and ham soup as starter, which was hearty and yum (with a little kick which was great for a cold day). The lamb was really delicious and generous in portion too. The chicken satay was delicious as well, nice spicy, and the homemade satay sauce was good (not authentic but good enough). Crispy beef was deliciously sticky. There is a lot of chicken in the Chicken Cesar salad, lovely and moist meat which was given a garlic herb rub, really delicious. The service was fantastic. Nothing was too much trouble, friendly and attentive staff. All and all, two thumbs up!"

"we find it hard to find somewhere in ellesmere port that has more than one or two good veggie options the selection here was great, there were 5 courses for £12 deal (poppadome, starter, 2 pages and a main and/or desert) and veggie options were as disc wiper (cheese,) or mushrooms or mixed veg (both classic) the food was well prepared, really tasted great, the service was good and friendly, and the atmosphere was also beautiful. we would recommend this place if they are in the harbour and are needed somewhere to dinner for a veggie curry or to go out for one!"
