Food was good, piping hot. If you would like the carvery best to book as gets very popular. The two ladies behind the bar are very friendly.

Visited Saturday just gone and had a lovely pint of ghost with the butcher family , Didn’t have food looks nice but a good selection of beer.

We Came here for food as a family, we sat outside in the sun, we didn't have a booking. Order at the bar here. Service was good, food was very reasonably priced. Another great visit.

for the first time in quite some time to eat here and I must say that we were all very impressed. all 3 meals were well cooked, well presented and very tasty. thanks to gavin and his team.

good eating, good atmosphere, nice staff and very covid conscious. located directly near the water and boats in the marina, with extensive space to sit outside the restaurant. bowl for dogs water. very popular for walks, followed by a drink. enjoy several meals. here including beautiful fish and chips and a Sunday roast. fair prices. First time in restaurant looks a bit tired inside but comfortable had carvery choice Turkey pork gammon no beef told the supplier unable to get tender Beef.think I was being told porkys. The Turkey looked good so wife and I that,veg were a bit tired...especially roast potatoes other veg ok but had bin on show long while we visited around 2pm. Staff very good atmosphere ok.chairs and carpet appears soiled.will we go back yes.

east point radio today held his promising volunteers together. in the late summer sun there was a lot of space in the free, which delighted our dozen strong party. there was a choice of four Cask-Ales; I chose adnams' ghost ship, always a favorit on a...warm day. the carvery looked good, but I knew I had a complete meal later I got the cheese and bacon melt baguette ordered from the bar menu. it came immediately, hot and of good size. eating and drinking is cheap and the staff was pleasant and efficient.

Our first visit was on Saturday 3rd July. As we walked into the premises to eat, we didn't have great expectations about the food, hopefully fair pub' food. Boy were we wrong! The burger was 100% pure beef and cooked perfectly. The whole tail scampi,...was WHOLE TAIL SCAMPI and not some frozen mush and the cod was extremely tasty and so big it could have fed three of us!!!! Cooked perfectly, served and presented really well. Thee staff were warm, welcoming and attentive without being pushing. We were staying on the site for a week and ate there on several occasions and every meal was extremely good, from the curry to the scampi. Gavin has a very good team here, getting everything right.
