"We enjoyed an excellent meal here, when staying at Center Parcs last year and so were keen to duplicate the experience, and we weren't disappointed. Staff are friendly and enthusiastic about the environment and the menu; and it is the menu that makes this place special, offering a spattering of dishes that will sound and feel familiar, but also many that, whilst authentic, are not usually seen on the typical Indian menu. With so much to delight, we ordered too much! But, at this time of year, there was no feeling of being rushed and we had also been seated at what, I presume, would normally be a table for four, meaning we had plenty of room for all the serving dishes. Service was friendly and professional. Food took a while to arrive, but we never mind that, as we hope it means that everything is being cooked fresh to order. We each had starters, a main with rice, two side dishes, two naans (the Peshwari naan is particularly good) and one beer and the bill came to £93 not cheap by any means but, for us, this really was an experience and one of the highlights of our break."

My family ordered delivery from this restaurant and we were all impressed by how delicious and well-prepared the dishes were. We enjoyed chicken tikka masala, tandoori chicken, lamb saag, biryanis, and chicken jalfrezi with naan and rice. Everything was excellent and we had a great experience.

My family and I thoroughly enjoyed eating at Rajinda Pradesh. We walked in and devoured everything on the menu. We were so full that we could barely walk afterwards. We visited last year and had the same great experience. The dessert was especially amazing and brought back childhood memories. xoxoxoxo :)

Our service was exceptional and we were served by Alisha who was very attentive and welcoming. We were a table of 9 and straight away the staff were very accommodating and allocated a table of 9 for our split group of five plus four. Our dishes came out hot and fresh and were promptly distributed among our group. I had the okra fries and the speciality lamb shank dish which was falling off the bone. Definitely will return. I really don’t understand the poor reviews of this restaurant. We as a family of four adults had a lovely meal , early evening.. The restaurant was not full but busy enough. Staff were excellent, Cobra , cold on draught. Poppaoms plentiful, fresh and dips all tasty. Ladies had different two starters as mains . All very tasty and men had Jafrezi, not ‘hot’ but tasty , fresh, plentiful well cooked chicken. Garlic Naan delicious . I would well recommend a visit Thank you

Oh my goodness, avoid this restaurant at all costs! The food is terrible, with small portions and a high price tag of nearly £25 for a curry and rice. It's no wonder the place was so empty. Save yourself some money and buy a supermarket curry instead - it will surely be more flavorful than the bland mush served here. The naan breads were tiny and not up to par, and the poppadums were like tiny crisps for £6. We feel completely ripped off. Centreparcs, this level of quality is unacceptable. We expect higher prices when dining on site, but this was just a joke.

I have eaten here on previous visits to center parcs. On those occasions I have found the food to be satisfactory only. However last night,30 Dec 23. The meal I had was the nicest I have had at an Indian restaurant in years. I had the chicken chilli balti and it was delicious, full of flavour. The rice was perfect and the naan one if yhe beat I've ever had. We also had the sharing platter to start and that was also delicious. My families meals were also devoured with gusto. Everyone enjoyed it. Yes it was a tad on the expensive side but we are at center larc after all and everything is. Thank you for a lovely meal. Visualizza piatti

I got the Crispy Onion Bhaji to start and my girlfriend got the Chicken Tikka (didn’t taste as such). We also shared the poppadum platter alongside our starters. As there are no prices on the online menu, you have no incline as to how much you will be paying for things when you get there. We nearly had a heart attack when we realised the curries were £17 each (that does not include rice/chips/naan literally just the sauce and whichever meat you choose). We decided to share the one curry, as well as sharing the sides. The restaurant now add an automatic 7.5% tip to your bill, which we asked the waitress to remove. Overall, if we were to return to Whinfell Forest, we would not be returning to...

We were looking forward to an authentic Indian, but were really disappointed with the food that was served. Both curries were without a doubt microwaved, one of the curries had 6 small chunks of lamb and were bland, tasteless and watery. We ordered the poppadom platter to start which were mini poppadoms which would equate to about 2 and charged over £6 for this. We also ordered a naan bread which was the smallest naan we’ve ever had. All in all we were very surprised when the bill came close to £80 when we only had one alcoholic drink each. We are always willing to pay premium prices for premium quality food however when we are paying this price for microwave food, we walked away feeling lik...

"We had a disappointing experience during our stay. The bedroom was quite cold, and despite asking for the heating to be turned on, we had to sit in our coats. The bathroom was freezing each morning, and the dining room didn't offer much relief either. The heating was activated for just one hour, which meant the radiator was cold again when we returned to our room. Their cost-cutting measures significantly impacted our enjoyment. We raised our concerns multiple times, but there was no one available when we settled the bill. At £100 per night for bed and breakfast (totaling over £200 including dinner), it was frustrating to be so uncomfortable. Another guest mentioned they had complained about the heating during their previous visit, only to be told there was an ongoing issue. It seems they simply won’t turn on the heating. We won’t be returning, especially since it’s quite a drive to get into town. Regarding the room, we were assigned an attic room (Room 8). It had many steep stairs and low headroom in places. While the bathroom was nice, it was also freezing. The towel rail was pointless since it was stone cold, and my husband had to skip his morning shower due to the chill. We ended up moving to Room 7, which was smaller but slightly warmer despite having a cold bathroom. The bathroom door didn’t shut properly, and the lights were all or nothing. The next morning, we moved our belongings back to Room 8 since they finally decided to turn on the electric wall heater—which they could have done from the outset. It only took the chill off for a little while. On our last night, we experienced a brief boost of heat, but it only lasted an hour. When we returned after dinner, the room was already cool again. As for nearby activities, there’s a park across a busy road, but everything else requires driving to reach shops and restaurants. Safety-wise, the hotel faces a main road, and there are very few parking spaces available (around four); otherwise, you need to park on the main road. Walking to town is possible, but it takes about 15 to 20 minutes downhill. In terms of food and drinks, the breakfast was decent. When asked if we wanted toast, we received just one slice on the same plate as the cooked breakfast. After asking for more, we had to wait a while before we were given another slice. Dinner was acceptable but nothing to write home about; it felt overpriced compared to the excellent authentic Indian restaurant we found in town, which served great food at better prices and opened at 5 PM. Overall, I'd recommend bringing warm clothes for both the bedroom and dining area; we even saw another guest sitting in her coat the entire time."
