the ratskeller is operated by an Indian manpower. therefore the menu card is divided into well-bourgeois German kitchen and Indian furnishings. we both tried and were satisfied.

the ratskeller is centrally located on the traffic-smoothed market square of melsungen and is surrounded by lovingly restored department stores. German / Indian dishes are offered, as well as seasonal specialties. we had decided to go for the austerity dishes. a portion of a spagel with the usual supplements and a small carving for 14,50€. drinks were well cooled and inexpensively ok. the service was accommodating.
