"The food was average at best, no frills and standard. We had the homemade pie which was made with suit pastry and was ok. A couple of other people sent the meal back due to the flies which had been loitering and looking for a meal too. Drink selection was a bit drab. Staff were fine, but seemed to “place” people where they wanted when they came in. Reasonable price."

Todo genial. Tienen las cosas sin gluten en el menú. las papas se frien aparte de los peces, entonces son libres de gluten. Muy feliz con todo. Definitivamente volveremos.

Decided to stop here after a trip to the market. It was very busy so had quite a wait for food but definitely worth it. The home made steak pie was absolutely delicious as was the fish chips. Would definitely recommended a visit

Had cod and chips with curry sauce. Was disappointed that the chips were frozen. Curry sauce tasted weird. Husband had mushy peas , he said they were nice. I expected better from Rays chippy to be honest. Chips should be homemade like Yorkshire Pride and Sherrys bar.
