"a visit in the athens feels like a visit to good friends. the cordial staff is nice and very friendly and very attentive although it is always full. the kitchen is delicious as in Greece and I have learned from the very friendly daughter that they and their mother are the inns and all the foods are homemade, what you also taste! very tasty stuffed wine leaves and great meat and the homemade bread is something very special. a great wine selection of small winzers in Greece. great experience great kitchen and great team. on my next visit direction bayern I will certainly go back."

great place, very friendly staff, excellent eating! we had Greek farmer salad at the beginning, then grilled tintenfisch and grilled salmon as main dish: everything fabulous! the retsina was excellent, as was the espresso (confide us: we are Italian)!. we recommend it absolutely. nördlingen is a beautiful place and the dinner at athena’s was the perfect addition to a great stay. after dinner we went through the whole city on the wall path. when they visit bayern, they take nördlingen and athena into their itinerary.
