"the restaurant grill25 in basel, unfortunately has deteriorated during each further visit. at the first visit I was very satisfied. on the basis of an additional and comprehensive meat card, with listed levels and inscriptions, we were able to choose the desired court. at the 2 we asked about the main card, about the meat card. the friendly employee told us that there was no more meat card, because the meat card was more comprehensive and the even grades were specifically listed. so good...The meat was a bit mild and dry at the 2 visit. at our 3 visit we decided to avoid the restaurant in future. my friend and I ordered lammrückenfilet, once medium plus and once medium. with my friend the meat was lassy and from the inside very tube (dry medium plus.) with me it was again mehlig, dry and irregularly roasted as with the 2 visit. we refer the personal to it. they asked if we wanted a new meat. I informed that I had eaten the meat and it was just about forwarding the feedback. my friend got a new lamb back fillet as desired. Although I asked the staff twice for their question that I don't want a 2 piece meat, they also brought me the entire court incl. I was forced to choke the meat down despite being full, because it's a pity about the meat. also at the 2 tables of the court we have found that the meat still does not withstand the price performance ratio. pity, because if you spend a lot of money as a young person for such a meal, you can ask more. the personal was partly very friendly, but unprofessional. drink card was not present and the employee did not even know which drinks are available. pity that restaurant was once a good location in basel."

Visited Grill 25 after a fairly stressful flight cancellation with 20 young people. The staff was incredibly accommodating, especially Michaela. They had delicious burgers to all children super fast and really friendly. 100% would recommend!

I had the lunch here with a friend who had a baby. They didn't have the a la carte menu just a special burger or a veggie buffet or with meat. I choose the meat option but when I went up to the offer there was only fish available, so not that much choice. So it was not really worth the value for money in the end.

This week I worked in Basel. I was really tired so I was looking for some light to eat near the fair and I found this restaurant. I ordered the fennel and Tumeric soup with grilled scallops. It was amazing... the taste. the freshness of the ingredients. Really delicious, fresh and peculiar combination but works well! Thank you. I'll be back soon! X

Hotel restaurants are often a disappointment. Three of us were jet-lagged, staying close to our beds. These hotel meals wee good, service was snappy. Nice environment. I enjoyed a Caesar salad with extra cheese. Too much cheese actually. Grill25 fills the gap if you are here, overnghting, and are too tired to seek. something special. Good selection of wines.

Arriving in Basel by train, evening, wanted simple fare and to bed. Well the staff and food was tops. Wine selection, red. Was local and great. Onion soup out standing. Bread had butter selection that were fun. Split their burger that was tasty and well served with steak fries. Topping it all off with icecream from wide selection. Attention from staff was excellent.

The food was good so we could give it 3.5! Waitress a waitress very nice. The thing that made a difference that our soups served hot and not lukewarm. This is a place you go to when you do not know where you are going or if you are in a hurry our situation. Lastly, the menu is not very large. The selection is quite limited. The wine menu is too expensive for what you get.

There is never many people in this restaurant as the menu is very small. What I have never understood is that if you are staying in the Hotel it is attached to (which we were) the room service menu is almost double the size with great options. Why don't both have the same menu?My husband's fish was overcooked and dry, I asked if I could have spaghetti from the room service menu which was not a problem but I had to wait ages for the parmesan I asked for and it wasn't as if they were busy.Breakfast on the other hand is wonderful and well worth coming down for.
