Restaurant Grindelwaldblick

A true Swiss restaurant. Fantastic views and setting. We had a very lite breakfast and really enjoyed our long lunch at Grindelwaldblick. The food was really good and great beer. Service staff was friendly and efficient.

So stelle ich mir ein Mittagessen an einem Skitag vor. Freundlicher, aufmerksamer Service, hausgemachte Speisen, die geschmacklich sehr gut und frisch zubereitet werden, gigantische Aussicht,... Wunderbar, so soll es sein...

Ich bin jedes Jahr zwecks Teamausflug jeweils für zwei Tage im Grindelwaldblick, es ist immer hervorragend!Sei es die sehr freundliche Bedienung, das gute Essen, oder die bezaubernde Aussicht die man von der grossen Terrasse aus bestaunen kann!Immer wieder eine Reise wert!

after reading all the good reviews I was very excited to try this brand dish here. the roestis, however, were very oily until they were barely frissable, even once without cheese. the carvings were of the frozen/fried variants. The Salad was very good. service competent and friendly and they can not beat the intention.

Wir gehen seit Jahren auf Grund eines Firmenevents für 2 Tage ins Restaurant Grindelwaldblick. Das Essen, wir hatten einen 3-Gänger, ist immer wieder ausgezeichnet und das Team um Priska ist ausgesprochen freundlich und zuvorkommend. Dazu einen wunderbaren spanischen Rotwein, was will man noch mehr.... Auch das Frühstück ist sehr reichhaltig und schön zubereitet. Alles in allem ein tolles Bergrestaurant. Sehr, sehr zu empfehlen!!!!!!

We happened to be among the first walkers down the spectacular trail from the Mannlichen gondola to the Kleine Scheidegg train station as it opened for the season in June. The wildflowers were in bloom and the views down to Grindelwald (4000' below) and across...to the Eiger peak were amazing. Near the end of the trail is this terrific restaurant, where we enjoyed every morsel of baked cheese, goulash soup, mixed salad and plum tart.

Der Grindelwaldblick liegt ein paar hundert Meter oberhalb der Kleinen Scheidegg, aber vom Männlichen herkommend, ist es das erste und beste Restaurant der Region. Es ist familiengeführt, das Personal sehr freundlich und speditiv.Wir genossen zu zweit ein Käsefondue auf der Aussenterrasse bei schönstem Sonnenschein und super Aussicht auf Eiger und Mönch. Hier sind die Fondueportionen gross genug, dass man auch satt davon wird, was man in den anderen Restaurants der Umgebung nicht sagen kann.Hier wurden wir noch nie enttäuscht, die Preise sind moderat und die Bedienung sehr aufmerksam. Das Restaurant ist für alle sehr zu empfehlen.

I went with my friend to lunch in this restaurant today. my note is a very negative and positive experience there: 1) I was shocked that despite the obligation for Swiss restaurants to check the green pass, this was not done properly: we were shown on our QR code but no scan was carried out to check the validity of our green pass. when I asked waitress why she didn't check it while it's a commitment, she answered very rude that it's her problem not ours. Just spent a wonderful night here. My wife and I hiked up from Grindelwald to Kleine Scheidegg, arriving just after 5pm (check in is up to 6.30pm We were given a really warm welcome by the lovely lady in the restaurant, and shown to our...room. It rained for the last part of our journey so we arrived looking like drowned rats. If this fazed her at all she certainly didn't show it. After a quick drink (for rehydration purposes : we grabbed a shower. The washrooms are communal, but split male/female, and showers are in individual cabins.
