Das Casa Andalusia ist ein schönes spanisches Restaurant in Weiden ich bin hier gerne zu Gast. This is a great place for a quiet night or a date. The food is outstanding and very fresh. I've been to Barcelona and I can honestly say that the Polenta at Casa Andalusia is on par with some of the best! The wine list...is not large, but what they do have is quality and easily paired with the menu. The staff is very friendly and patient with my bad German! I have a friend who's been here and thought it was pricey, I disagree. Main course menu items on average are around 15-20Euro and I found the quality is well worth it. I would definitely recommend Andalusia.

The restaurant is situated in a villa in the outskirts of Weiden you'll most likely have to know of its existence beforehand, otherwise the location is not that obvious. The concept and many of the menu items are Spanish or Spanish inspired, and are...actually quite loyal to the original concept. I was invited here for dinne one vening, and when we arrived the place seemed vacant, but after half an hour the place filled up. We shared some tapas as starters, which was well composed, fresh and tasty. The wine was a white from Conca de Barbera just outside Barcelona, which had exactly the right balance between fruit and acidity. Aber viele der Bewertungen im Netz, das Preisniveau und dahingehende Erwartung stehen in extremer Diskrepanz zu unserem Erlebnis: Freitag Abend, Essen zu Zweit, unser erstes Mal im Casa Andalusia.
