"Called in for a coffee earlier today and was greeted by the manager Michael. His attitude was lovely and my latte was lovely that he made. He is a real credit to the team and is always interested to hear about my day. Thankyou Rhode Island I wouldn't spend my money anywhere else. All the other staff are always helpful."

There are much better cafes in town. Had a coffee and a cake. Was overpriced. Much better experience seeing my coffee being roasted across town at a different cafe.

Really lovely staff, excellent coffee and great quality food for such reasonable prices. Would recommend this place any day over the more commercial coffee chains in town.

Had a brew there and hubby had a cake. Place was dirty. Dirt on the floor. Food/drink area was utterly filthy. I saw one waiter cleaning a table with , wait for it, his hand! His hand! No cloth or liquid in site.

I visit this coffee shop on a regular basis and that is because the staff are excellent with the personal stuff that means a lot but unfortunately is becoming rare. The two Michael’s that work there are just so helpful and nothing seems to be too much trouble. Well done Rhode Island Blackburn
