"We ate dinner here on a rainy, busy Saturday night in Salzburg, the staff are Italian and since my Italian is better than my German it was nice to be able to communicate fluently with the friendly staff. We had high hopes for the food... having lived in Italy for 3 years but were sadly a little deflated as it did not live up to expectations given the staff were Italian. I had the antipasto, which appeared to be supermarket bought, mass produced items and a real disappointment, simply mediocre. The cream of potato soup was fine and the mains were again mediocre, my wife had a penne dish and I had scallopine funghi, which was just okay."

We dined at Giacomo’s three times during our visit in Salzburg. Staff was super friendly and attentive (even when the restaurant was full of customers) food was pretty and delicious every single time.

Food was way too spicy for my taste pasta and also the carpaccio tasted garlic. The behaviour of one from the staff was disappointing, loud person and behaving like a clown. Avoid the place, not a nice atmosphere

Just had the Pizza Porchetta which was absolutely fantastic. One of the best pizzas I have had. Although it was busy the young lady with the tattoos and short brown/black hair was attentive and attended all guests with a professional approach. 10/10 would recommend this restaurant. Great find! We were staying at the hotel and ended up being too tired to go where we had planned and this was perfect. The servers are super attentive and kind and the food is really good. We were very happy we ended up here! My husband and son had the pizza and said it was really good too. Food is very reasonably priced.

Came here for dinner at around 6:30, restaurant was packed! I suggest making a reservation... Anyways, the staff was kind enough to give us a table for about an hour and a half without a reservation. We had pizza, pasta, a beer and a soft drink for 25 Euros so the price is good. The atmosphere is also very cozy and comfortable for dinner. Food was delicious and staff was super friendly, service was fast. Left the restaurant happy and full! Definitely go here if you want good Italian food in Salzburg. Have to say that there is no English menu so keep that in mind but over all we managed...
