"Well have awarded 1 star for each category as needed to get to this page.We didnt have an experience of dining at Rose and Crown Histon as when we turned up the place was closed,all in darkness,no explanation on door and no correspondence received as to why place was closed. On asking at burger bar in their car park it seems they had an emergency and had to go away ,but surely a text or something could have been sent.Luckily for us The Smokehouse across the road took us in,not good customer service from Rose and Crown"

Great day at a great local pub, staff are 1st class, the burgers are great and the landlady us welcoming and a laugh too. Felt like a pub should.

The staff made the family meal very enjoyable by making a fuss of the young children and an extra special dessert for the 4 year old. We will come back.

Cannot fault this place. Found and service excellent. Chap behind the bar very efficient and friendly. Excellent value for money. Will certainly recommend.

We had a lovely lunch, there's a good variety of courses, all cooked fresh. The food was beautiful. Parking can be difficult, but there is space on street nearby. The bathroom was still immaculate after a busy lunch. The landlord was very friendly.

Having eaten in the Rose and Crown twice this weekend after staying in the lovely cottage next door, I have to say the food was very tasty and exceptional value for money. I would definitely recommend to anybody that's looking for a delicious Sunday lunch with family and/or friends or a cosy evening meal. I'll definitely be returning!

tonight for lunch. I was best tasted. roast beef was also amazing. veg was boiled to perfection and all came to the table pistol hot. pudding was just as good. eton mess sundae. chocolate brownie sunflower and beautiful ice selection. the service was attentive, but not intrusive. all in all a great return visit. will be back soon. Thank you.
