nice to visit after 2 years in winter sleep again. saw marsh harriers x 3. loose black head puppets. the sky tower is a beautiful supplement, photo is attached from above.

This country needs more places like this! Great knowledgeable staff nice accomodating café and visitor centre. Confirmable and adaptable hides too and good well maintained paths. Marsh Harriers and all sorts of water birds about too.

This is a wonderful spot for a leisurely stroll - the terrain is flat and easily accessible. The staff are friendly and engaging, and it wasn't too crowded on a Monday. There are plenty of birds around, although they are more often heard than seen in the tall trees.

Visited the reserve and cafe twice this month and found the food delicious although a little expensive. Tried both quiches and they were sooo tasty, even cold the cheese tomato one was yummy. I also had the fudge toffee square which I loved. I certainly wouldn't hesitate to return, although if you are on a budget there are plenty of picnic tables if you prefer to take your own food.

A first class service with excellent food and drink in a lovely environment. Patrick the manager is to be commended for his outstanding acheivement in creating a clean and cheerful environment with well above average foods and drinks, all at reasonable prices. He is an asset to Leighton Moss. Thank you to all staff on duty when we called in for lunch before enjoying the Reserve/We look forward to our next visit.

Wonderful place for families with children and not only. If you come by train, with the train tickets, it's half price entrance, it use to be for free before the lockdown. Coffee place inside is very nice with very polite staff. Bird nature reserve it's just like a paradise, will endless paths to discover, huge variety of wildlife birds, insects and plants. Very clean and nicely maintained. We had wonderful day out and will definitely come back for more.

Managed by the RSPB it’s a great place to spot local and migrating wildlife, particularly birds. The main visitor centre has a shop and cafe and car park, which do get busy on nice days , so arrive early. Most of the hides can be accessed by wheelchair. It’s worth taking your binoculars if you have them, although you can rent them or buy them in the shop. Pond dipping kits also available to hire. There are regular guided walks which can be booked online- worth doing if you want to learn more. Education visits by schools are also popular and enjoyed by children

We had a wonderful experience at this restaurant. Not only was the food unique and delicious, but it was also educational. We visited in early March and even though we couldn't try everything on the menu, we still had a great time (we even saw a friendly robin who posed for some photos). The restaurant had a variety of items for sale, from glassware to key chains to cups. Since it was raining, we decided to have a hot drink and snack at the café. The staff was incredibly helpful and patient with us as we struggled to make a decision. I highly recommend this place for families, children, and even pets, as they have a dog-friendly area.

fabulous reserve with so much to see, even ende januar, when a lot of vegetation dies back, but with many winter visitors migrants (feated! to see. I arrived with the train to silverdale about carnforth. main visitor center just a short walk from there. RSPB staff welcome the people at the arrival to ask if something special they want to see, they give advice of the best places within the reserve. hauptreservat has several large skins that offer excellent prospects over the lagoons reedbeds. the information boards look pretty much everywhere.
