Ruby Cantonese - Menu

This is the best Chinese in Leamington by far. The food is reasonably priced, very tasty and always fresh. Arrives hot when delivered. Has a huge menu with many different dishes.

Met up with some family members here for Sunday lunch. Excellent food, service hospitality. Would certainly recommend and will visit again. Food was hot, tasty fresh. Service was very quick and we were not rushed in any way.

The service and food were excellent! I would recommend this restaurant for any occasion. We went here for a family get-together and 70th birthday celebration. The staff were attentive and friendly, creating a relaxed atmosphere. Everyone had a great time.

Ate here as a group of eight on a Saturday night. We ate off a set menu and they were happy to adjust one of the dishes. We were a large group who had not seen each other for a while and the service was attentive but unobtrusive. The food was excellent and plentiful. Reasonably priced with a decent wine choice too.

We will go back to Ruby and again enjoy their excellent beef dishes. The staff were pleasant and the lady in charge was particularly keen to ensure that we got served even though we arrived close to closing. We have our suspicions that the hot and sour soup was intended for an 'British ' clientele as it really wasn 't much like the real thing.

The ruby has always been an all you can eat. Checking online days before, we went this evening. It stated it was still as such. Went tonight sat down, drinks already ordered and was told they no longer do all you can eat. Even though website stated it did. **** disgrace. Prices so expensive. Was told that I was wrong about the website… that they had changed things during covid. Hello?? But no one was around in covid…

I recently revisited Ruby this weekend after a few years. My partner and I used to enjoy their buffet and were disappointed when it was discontinued due to covid. I was unaware that the buffet was still available on Sunday afternoons only. It was just as wonderful as I remembered- the same delicious flavors, perfectly grilled meats, and friendly service. Ruby has definitely returned to its former glory. All the food is cooked fresh and it tastes amazing. We had a fantastic meal and are looking forward to coming back again.

Based on the reviews here, it seems like we had a not-so-great experience at this restaurant. It was our first time ordering and definitely our last. The curry was lacking in flavor, the meat and onions were watery, and the fried rice was dry and tasteless. The chips were terrible, I've had better frozen ones from the supermarket. The pineapple fritter was so bad that I didn't even taste it before throwing it away. We try to support local businesses, but they should at least send out a decent meal. Zero stars, never going back again!

We called tonight to order a collection take away. It can be a little difficult due to my partner being gluten free. The gentleman on the phone was highly knowledgeable about gluten allergies and guided us through what we could have. The order was cooked to perfection and the best tasting Chinese food we have had since being gluten free. The gentleman also took the time to mark a whole menu up for us with highlighter and notes to allow us to choose in the future. Needless to say, we now have a new local Chinese and would recommend everyone visit and experience the food and amazing customer service. 11/10. Thank you so much.
