"Yammin-Yummy says. ... 5 stars ... also a rarely awarded- 'beezybonus'. . . now, where do I begin to begin with such an amazingly appealing selection of freshly prepared foods that one would naturally expect that, already cooked, sitting, waiting for the next hungry expected customers. this can sometimes cook up to 10-20-50mins before they are placed in front of them. not here. freshly cooked. now this beautiful example of a traditional 'fish chip love affair, established over generations of Friday nights, was beautifully designed to tell their mouth, tonge taste panties, please attach their belts, and then it is about them an incredible arbor ride. ... one who seems to go up just as once they decided what's going in their mouth first (at least the crispy tail end) begins their incredible journey up; as their eyebrows increase during thinking, omg that 's sooo different good, light, crispy teig as I've never tasted in my 37 years since the beginning in the food industry. And then I made the mistake of dipping my squid in the homemade tartaric acid sauce. that is when the 1st massive fear happened, as I thought, oh my days; the better then mean, re-entry, deeper, actually cure my wrist action, to ensure maximum absorption of this sweet/creamy/tart/caper filled taste, as I reached for a chip to accompany, strengthen the excellent experience I thought stupid would be a 'standard thing'. Now I took care of you like this, but I have seen on my chips a few each mouthful was an experience, depending on how I stacked the fork, hahahaha. the fish was so fresh that I was looking on my teller sand. ... to dedicate a joy to each chip. ... the muddy heaps, normally warmed, not microshaft to a mass-hotter-then-the-sun, went a tasty bite, and quickly also, for once. the lemon shattered haddock had to be tied to the plate, because this teig was so light that it almost raised to the deck. but as soon as this handmade tasty tartaric acid sauce meets, any responsible 'handler-of-the-fork', wants to make sure that its only trajectory can be swallowed in their waiting swallow. It was so good, I couldn't stand to leave a single diesel and with this tartaric acid sauce, which even made a bulky chip, was nothing left, I was ashamed to ask the cook the recipe for 'this sauce', as he made such a light oil-free beautiful teig. the staff is very attentive, courteous, with a beautiful large sitting area also. get yourself here quickly bungalows to make an ordinary experience, in an excellent exciting eating expedition into a court that we all know so well, but so different. ... enjoy."

"Incredible cuisine and service. Easily my favourite restaurant in St Albans and superb for vegetarians. Eclectic flavours fused together with tremendous heart and soul. High quality ingredients and twists on recognizable dishes through which they have upped the ante. Wonderful team who have always been incredibly hospitable and warm whenever we have been they even remembered some of our prior conversations after a couple months of not having visited a mark of people who care and that are genuine. Many thanks and recognition should go to the host manager, Gul, and those who took us on the culinary journey Agil and Milena, to name a few. Standout dishes: Fava bean hummus (gorgeous freshly baked pita Labneh Aubergine kumpir (surprisingly delicious Cyprus potatoes (what superb and technically outstanding potatoes!"

"This place came highly recommended, now I know why. We got a lovely friendly welcome, offered a coffee straight away. The staff are helpful and attentive, with the chef checking on our meal to make sure we were happy. A nice menu with a good...range of options to choose from. I had the pancakes with honey, fruit and yoghurt. Plenty to eat, looked and tasty lovely. The hubby had poached eggs on toast with bacon and beans, which he said was very good, when he didn’t have his head down, tucking in. Out of town, so very easy to park. All round, great place."

"The staff are so attentive and friendly. The service is so quick and for the price I think the experience is so good! The cocktails are so refreshing n yum!! We had a cheeseburger while my boyfriend had the truffle burger which we all thought was one of the best burgers we’ve eaten! The best thing on the menu was definitely the fried chicken, which is breaded in rice crispies, 10/10! We also had the loaded tater tots which were insane. Definitely one we’ll always keep going to, just wish the burger nights were all week!!"

"Located in the Market Place of St Albans, just across from the old town hall which is now a museum, the quaint Marrakech Moroccan restaurant offers a lunchtime set menu for £14.95 on Sundays. Intrigued, we decided to stop by and give it a try. The restaurant is cozy and nicely decorated, with a pleasant atmosphere and friendly staff. The service was quick and the food was delicious, with the camembert starter being a particular highlight. It was our first visit, but it certainly won't be our last. We will definitely be returning."
