"We found this Thai restaurant online when searching for somewhere we could celebrate my husband 's 50th birthday near the Batschkapp Frankfurt where we had tickets to see the Stereophonics. Looked great, so my husband contacted the restaurant via their website. You would think that 'Contact Us ' means contact us, but not at the Ruean Mhai. When we arrived and explained we made a reservation online, we were told that they don 't accept reservations online. When my husband explained that it said 'Contact Us ' and showed them the email, they again said that they didn 't accept reservations online, that they were fully booked. When we explained that it was his birthday and that we were going to a concert and we wouldn 't take a table all night, he still couldn 't accommodate us. So the five of us had to quickly find somewhere else to eat. Google to the rescue. We found an Italian restaurant just a 4 minute walk away called Trattoria Culinaria. We called to see if they had a table for 5 and they were happy to accommodate us immediately. What an amazing find! The amazing service was only surpassed by the delicious tapas, great wine list, and incredible menu all at the most affordable prices. We went from being so angry that we had been treated so badly by the Ruean Mhai, to wanting to go back and thank them for turning us away! What a happy accident. We had a wonderful evening and my husband had the Gambas parmesan which was a delightful experience on its own. So if you are thinking of booking the Ruean Mhai, don 't contact them by email, in fact don 't contact them at all. Call the Trattoria Culinaria on +49 6109 21498 and you will not only have a table waiting for you, but you are guaranteed to have a terrific evening."

had steamed fish with cauliflower and chilis excellent. it is hard to escape evaporative when they do not know what they do so that they do not find this dish on the menu of many restaurants. he took it off. highly recommended.

It was a very pleasant surprise this restaurant. Very nice staff and surprisingly good food. You are able to determine all its ingredients, that's what coocking is all about. A pitty though that the chili isn't uses as it is in Thailand. But that the only minus.
