Sainsbury's Supermarket

Good down to earth food, pleasant waitress. Can be busy at peak times but can be less crowded at other times.

Great cafe and great service. Went during a busy period and the food was excellent. Reasonably priced too. Will be back!

Lovely hunters chicken with chips peas were a bit cold apart from that it was lovely my daughter had quiche with new pots and Salad she said it was very nice

Have now tried this cafe at Sainsbury's 5 times and each time there has been no improvement. Services is slow and food is mediocre, they even over toast a toastie. Have given 2 points for the staff who are always friendly.

The four of us all had something different, I had the sausage bap, my wife the fruit and yoghurt, my father in law the scrambled eggs on toast and my mother in law the toasted tea buns and four people were very happy with what they had been given.

Usually fine but today was a disappointment. Would usually have bacon baps, but saw 'pigs under blankets ' baps, shown as two sausages and two bacon rashes in a buttered bap, so thought they would be a change. Waited quite a while for them to come out. When they did, the lady actually said 'pigs under blankets baps ' as she put the plates down. What we had been given were just sausage baps. There was by now quite a long queue, and we didn 't have time to mess about, so we ate them and put it down to experience.

Completely my fault, l 'lost ' my camera in Sainsbury 's for about an hour yesterday (16th Jan). The manager,Keiran, and several colleagues, were incredibly kind and helpful in trying to help myself and my hubby find it. Giving up hope we were treated to a complimentary and compassionate free cuppa in the cafe because l was so upset!......really kind and thoughtful of Keiran Then, amazingly, a very kind and friendly lady who was working in the clothes section, found the camera and brought it to me! Thank you, thank you, thank you! All the staff involved were so caring and went way above and beyond their work duties to help ....and some lovely other customers helped too . The service at this cafe is slowly deteriorating, with the latest gremlin being tills which won 't open and require the cashier cum order-taker cum coffee maker to scoot around behind the screen to grab 'someone who knows '. It 's basically a Micky Mouse setup and has been for at least the last year and a bit, with very few staff running the show. I don 't blame the staff, but pity their plight with the elderly equipment they have to use, apart from two new coffee percolators which jam up and need a poke with a stick now and then. Anyone in front of you who orders three big breakfasts, but one with fried bread instead of toast, and black pudding and one less sausage, the next without beans b...

At the counter I ordered Yorkshire Ham, egg and chips. I sat down and waited for approximately 10 minutes, this was nice I was able to go through my emails on my Phone. It eventually arrived and the person delivering it was very present. She placed Mill in front of me, and it actually look quite good. Started to talk in and I found a long dark hair are in between my fried eggs. My stomach started to feel the unmistakable feeling of preparing itself to be sick. This hair where was truly that bad. I made my complaints and they repeat me my money to the exact penny. The thing i did not like, they didn't say sorry.
