"This place may not look like much from the outside, but it is absolutely delicious! The service was quick, the beer was cold, the food was hot and tasty. What else could you want? We were visiting friends at Rose Barracks so if you are in the area, this place is only a short distance away and worth eating off the base. The cheese spatzle was literally one of the best I've had this whole trip, and I wish I ordered a second one just to take home and eat again the next day! Lots of free street parking right out front the restaurant, but it definitely fills up. There are both German and English menus available. A must try for authentic German food!"

"They were here for the first time. We had three different burgers all were very tasty and sufficient. The supplements can be ordered separately. The meat was very juicy. The service staff was very friendly. Only from the place could you do more. It wasn't our last visit."

"A solid choice for greek food; but I didn't have time to try the other greek place on Marketplatz for comparison purposes. I ate late, so it was quiet and finding a table was easy. Kreta is fairly small, maybe a dozen or so tables of varying sizes, and it shares an entranceway from the street with another restaurant, so don't look for a dedicated doorway off Marketplat (just look across the street from Aladdin Grlll and slightly away from the clock tower). My Kritharakia (orzo with a tomato and meat sauce, topped with cheese and baked) was good and filling. The greek farm salad was exactly what I wanted; lots of tomatoes, cucumber, and onions with a couple olives, topped with two slices of feta and drizzled with olive oil and herbs. It wasn't some mind-blowing salad, but it was a nice change of pace to get so much fresh veggies in Germany. If I liked ouzo I'd have enjoyed the complementary shot of it that came with my Sprite, but I'm just not a fan of licorice-flavored liquor unfortunately."

"Wir hatten T-Bone, Steak mit Calamari, Mais, American Fries und Beilagen. Die Steaks (auch das T-Bone) waren auf den Punkt. Schöne Außenfärbung, leicht karamellisiert, genau so wie es sein muss, wenn Könner am Werk sind. Geschmack war hervorragend und Biss war ebenfalls so wie man es sich vorstellt, wenn es sehr gut sein soll. Mais leicht dunkel angegriffen und mit leicht süßer Karamellnote. Service freundlich und sehr aufmerksam. Fazit ein gelungenes Abendessen, wir werden wieder kommen. Gruß an das gesamte Team."
