"Usually can't go wrong with Sandwich Co but we arrived on a Friday at 2.30 after a busy lunch period. They were sold out of most fillings. I asked for lettuce told they had none even though there was a full wrapped Iceberg sitting on the counter beside her. Staff just couldn't have been bothered to prepare. Although the sandwich was nice I didn't really feel the service/offering was good enough at this time of day felt it was just scraped together from leftovers. Disappointed!"

Lovely toasted rolls and sandwiches, price is pretty good, only downside is seating issues, very very busy place. Lots of variety and stuff to offer

I frequently stop by this restaurant for fresh sandwiches, they also serve delicious coffee and the staff is very friendly. I highly recommend trying their toasties!

Popped in for an early morning coffee. Wonderful friendly atmosphere and comfy chairs. The perfect place to pick up your morning paper, relax with a cup of good Java and catch up with the world ikf that is your ‘thing’. Or, just sip and people watch as Derry passes the window.

The Sandwich Co Spencer Road delivers on customer service and taste. The BEST coffee to be got in the city. The food hot and cold offers great taste and unbeatable value, and on these cold Derry winter days the soup and roll @lunch is amazing. I stopped by this restaurant for lunch while exploring the city. It was quite busy with a short wait in line. A young lady took my order and my food arrived promptly. However, it was a bit challenging to find a table due to the crowd. I had to clean off the table myself since no staff were available in the dining area. Additionally, the floor could have used some cleaning as well.

As a frequent visitor to The Sandwich Co this is the 1 st time I 've ever reviewed it. The staff are extremely helpful and friendly. The coffee is very good as is their fabulous range of cakes ! Today I had a Red Velvet Cupcake. It is very well presented The cake itself is very good. The topping is delicious with a spoonful of jam in the centre. I look forward to my next visit and next cupcake.

"I had tickets for the evening's entertainment in the ballroom and thought it would be an idea to have supper first to make a night of it. We were straight away led to The Grill and seated by a lovely welcoming member of staff who made sure we had drinks and menus. The variety itself was more than sufficient with something for everyone. We know what we like and like what we want so went for two of the salmon and two of the turkey/ham combo. Our starters were served very quickly and plates cleared as soon as we were finished. My company remarked on the still warm bread rolls complimented on how hot full of flavour the soup was. We opted to have our tea in the ballroom as the seats were filling up and didn't want to be too far back and this was brought through for us by another very pleasant member of staff and we were settled for the show. I loved the food, reasonably priced very tasty and good portions so more than happy with the meal. However what really made this the most pleasant of experiences was the staff. The manager, the floor supervisor and the waiting staff. Full of chat, helpful and very personable. All were quite young maybe holiday relief staff but this didn't come through if that was the case. I wish I'd taken their names although had I done I might have left someone out...This establishment seem to know the value in good staff and I hope they look after them. We will definitely be back and thank you for a lovely evening made all the more special because of how you looked after us, an absolute joy."

"I visited this restaurant for the first time and ordered the Legenderry double burger, while my friend opted for the single patty version. Our food was ready in about 10 minutes, which I thought was impressive. The burger was tasty, but it was clear it hadn’t been cooked fresh, as it wasn’t hot when served. That was a letdown, as it seemed like it had been prepared earlier and reheated. The chips were decent, but I prefer the style from traditional chip shops, so that might just be my personal taste. Overall, the burger was good, but I expect it to be piping hot if it's made fresh rather than reheated, especially for £13. Despite this, I’m not discouraged from returning and look forward to enjoying a freshly made burger next time. Food: 3 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 3"

"Today, 8 of us visited for lunch and had a great experience. The staff were pleasant, the service was excellent, and there was a great selection on the menu. The prices were very affordable and the restaurant was clean. We can't wait to come back and try the evening menu. Best wishes to Ray, Ciaran, and the whole team. We highly recommend this restaurant and think it is a great addition to the craft village in Derry city centre. We will definitely be back soon!"

"We visited spaghetti junction on a busy Saturday at end of September. As per some comments below it does not look much from the outside but once inside you feel like you are transported to Italy. Menu is typical Italian and with 10 in our party a wide range of started came on all to an excellent standard. We then had mains again a wife variety of pasta, pizza and meat and all excellent. Waiting staff were very enthusiastic and attentive. As we were finishing startera the entertainment started with Bruno on the microphone. He started slowly but by the time we had finished all 10 of us plus the rest of the restaurant and waiting staff were up dancing to his array of songs. Highly recommended. Food excellent."

"I ended up there more by chance and without a reservation and only had to wait a short time for a free table. The service was quick, attentive and friendly. The pricing is a bit unclear, there are no prices in the menu directly next to the dishes. There only seems to be a fixed price for 2 or 3 courses. My burger was tasty, but somehow nothing special, and I think £22 for a burger and fries is already a high price. The restaurant is really nicely decorated and the beer selection is good"
