Good food as always but the place need a good clean, painting and refurb, menu's were sticky and dogeared.

1st time in this restaurant. eating was a nice choice. personal pleasant and helpful . recommend this place

Food was superb tasted just like the dishes we had when we visited Thailand. Great presentation and food was piping hot would definitely recommend

I've been eating Thai food for years, due to growing up with a friend from Thailand. Sangthai is outstanding. The food is fresh and flavourful, and, unlike many other Thai restaurants, is consistent every visit. The dipping sauces are all perfectly paired with the starters, and the Pad Thai is the best I've ever had. This hidden gem is better than any of the Thai places in Leeds, and I've tried most of them!

We arrived for and didn't have our meals by I appreciate that it was new years Eve but the staff didn't apologise once throughout the course of the meal or ask how the food was. When we said that we weren't happy with how long the food took to come out the lady who dealt with us was nothing but rude and didn't have the time of day to listen to a word that we had to say and just said if we had a problem we should have complained before the food arrived Because of the way we were treated it put a real downer on the rest of the evening and we will not be returning!

I had a family dinner here today on 23/4/22. Eating was absolutely amazing, had never Thai food before and I am a definitiw fan! I ate a yellow curry with king garnel and cocosy for my main meal and it was delicious, very full, but did not let me blossom. the food arrived quickly and the personal has constantly checked us to make sure we are well. this is really appreciated as it has welcomed us and the personal took care of us! there is also a beautiful dessert menu, with some delicious puddings. I would recommend the deep-fried ice! it was all cut off with a nice cup coffee. all in all, a great culinary experience with nice eating and personal. will definitely return. thanks!

We dined at this restaurant this evening, as we do every few weeks, although this time it had only been seven days since our last visit! As always, the service was courteous and efficient, the waiting time very reasonable since everything is cooked freshly to order, and the food when it arrived, was the toppest of top-notch. We both started with spring rolls, which were crispy and good, and we both had sea bass for our mains; mine was served in a sweet plum sauce, and my friend's in a curry sauce. In both cases the fish was perfectly cooked and tender. The Santhai at Escrick is definately on the up again. A new chef has added a wow factor to the already tasty menu. I have over the years worked my way through the whole menu. My favourites starter is Si Oua (spicy sausage) it is hot and delicated flavoured all at the same time. Kradoog Moo Tod (spare ribs) are the most melt in the mouth ever. Slow cooked to perfection.I think having tried most of the main courses now, but still come back to the Gaeng Keowan Gai(green chicken curry) although not for the squeamish Poo Pat Pong Galee(crab with celery) sounds boring, but has such depth of flavour and texture and is also such great fun to eat.They now have a wider range of desserts but I generall...
