"The loose translation from German to English would be "shoe bake". That about describes the mystery cut of beef that I was served along side a bunch of inedible goo sauced out of a Knorr packet. In particular, I objected to the notion of being segregated into a room full of "foreigners" while the locals seem to be deliberately seated in another room. The service certainly follows this sensation of being segregated. At least, this is not a friendly place to dine. Next time I'll keep walking."

Small restaurant with average food and nice service. Wish I could have tried more items on the menu.

A great place to sample local cuisine, served by extremely friendly and competent staff. The prices are surprisingly modest.

We had great pumpkin soup - several different german specialties and Apple donuts. It was one of our favorite meals! The service and the people are great.

Stopped in one evening while walking around this cute little town. Enjoyed some great pumpkin soup and schnitzel. Nice atmosphere and good service. Recommend! Visualizza piatti

Real good local Food in a nice ambiance. The city improved really the last years. Its Now a nice place to be where you really can enjoy the local food with some beer.

We arrived as the restaurant opened and were immediately made to feel welcome. Whilst the lady who served spoke very little English, she somehow understood what we were talking about. The service was excellent, beer was nice and cold and the food very edible.

Nice restaurant not far off the Rathaus square. Service is friendly but there was some confusion. As she brought our dinners, the server realized I was getting something I did not order. It looked good (and was!) so I accepted it and was not disappointed. Very reasonably priced. Visualizza piatti

A very good place to spend an evening out in this idillyc small German town. Regional and tasty cuisine, good prices, nice location - near the main church of the city. A friendly family-run restaurant. Don't miss the Swabian "Spätzle"! Absolutely delicious! Part of the staff is a bit arrogant, but...we weren't there to eat or marry these guys. So...we had a good experience in this restaurant und...wir kommen wieder!

I am an American studying at Goethe Institute and I spent Thanksgiving in Germany. I went with some of my classmates (all foreigners to Germany) to have a nice meal and to celebrate the American holiday with our new friends. Our teacher recommended this place. The food was excellent and the people were so friendly to us. They were patient with us trying to order in our newly learned German. It was very friendly and wonderful. Saurerbrauten was zehr gute!

"as a customer of plow for the last 6 years this time will probably be my last. I booked a table for the last Saturday night for 20.15 and was told to me when I had booked, we would have to sit and have an aperitif while. we waited for our table. no problem, this is of course Saturday night. at the arrival we were given into the wineable and a table. whether it was a communication problem between which the booking or the waitress took place, which impresses that we eat in the non-restaurant part. Of course, my wife was very moved before we even had a drink or ate. when we got our table, I had my jacket with me, by the way, nobody asked me if I wanted to hang him up. there were 3 waitresses in this night and the chefin. the first waitress asked if our order had been taken. my wife replied that we needed a menu where the waitress asked my wife if she could speak up, I can't hear her. so my wife, who is German, asked very slowly and loudly if we could have a menu, please we ordered our food and the brot and the delicious dives arrived. at this time 2 waitresses and chefin had been to our table and fell to notice that we had no serviettes. I felt that the service did not live up to the standard of the restaurant that costs 100€ per head. the night did not begin smoothly and I fear they could see it in the placement of the workers. maybe a little better training and courtesy. As for eating, I ordered three courses, like my wife. I would have ordered more, but for the choice. I loved my starter of duck leber and fish curs of seabass. the problem that I have is the same dishes that I had last year apart from some cannellini begging on my sea floor. the most important courses of venison and blackening were very subduing. my wives bite size parts of bauch gay and suck more tasteless pork and my underheated venison filet was so disappointing. the only thing that was fed on my teller, were the mushrooms, the comma cook must have dropped the black pfefferpot because my mouth burned. normally I love warmth! as for the desserts a soft and unimpressive mouse and eis with a small triangle of tuille not exactly the wow factor to finish a meal. I don't expect a damp radio from the baked cook. the other choice was stylton, port and coward. not very innovatiw. I just woke up in the 1990s. I understand that the plow has high standards when it comes to eating and maybe the menu does not change so often, but after a year and that goes for the ala carte it is time for change. This time was really the worst experience we had here. it might have been a bad day in the office. my wife and I treat us once or twice a year to a special night. This time we were sadly disappointed. I will not waste our hard-earned money when you visit the plow."
