The quality of food is outstanding, cooked by chef Mark Fisher. Front of house is run smoothly by wife Michelle. There are few restaurants offering this level of comfort and quality with exceptional attention to detail. They also cater for the Orient Express train, so a romantic evening/weekend is always guaranteed."

It’s been a few years, so good to see a thriving family business. The rooms were as well presented and comfortable as I remember. The staff attentive and friendly and the 5 course meal was Devine. Thank you for a lovely stay.

We were down from Scotland for my neice wedding and original booked Sabadtians. My brother and family joined us. I had the fantastic evening meal on Friday. It was using local fresh produce and a limited choice, which took me out of my comfort zone, but it was well worth it! The breakfast was stunning! Thanks Richard

We stayed here for 1 night in April 2023. The hosts were very welcoming and friendly. Our room was clean and warm and stocked with milk, teas and coffees. Breakfast was delicious with a great choice of options. There was a local map provided and our hosts gave us lots of recommendations to places to eat. Overall a great night away and would recommend.
