"Gemütliches und sehr herzlich geführtes Lokal. Die Pizzen werden, anders als meistens, in der heissen Gusseisenpfanne direkt aus dem Ofen serviert und schmecken hervorragend. Wären die Champignons nicht aus der Dose gewesen gäbe es die Höchstnote, so eine leckere Basis hat frische verdient. Freuen uns schon auf das nächste Abendessen im Alpenblick!"

"0 STAR Yesterday . I was there with my family for dinner for my grnadmother birthday . I am a Cook my self for the last 10 years. When I heard the Bad Horn had a 1 Michellin Star i was exited to eat some good stuff and enjoy a nice service. When I saw the Menu I was shocked . As it was very boring and not very exited at all . 3 of us ask for a different menu . So we were offered the traditianl Schitzel Breaded Veal steak with Fries . A Veeery simple dish to make . For 40 CHF !!!!! The same dish you can get next door for 18 chf . The Fries were from The freezer dry and over fried and the Schnitzel was wet and oilly . Like it was fried and then put in the steam oven ..not crispy at all ! For a Michellin Star !!!! And for 40 CHF I would at least like to have standart meal. Service was 6/10. Not to mention the Hair I had on top of my Lemon . I did not make a complain because it was my grandmothers day and I did not want her to get upset at 92 years old . Michellin Star not deserved !!! So over priced !!!! 0.2ml Williams at 12 CHF thats like 400-500% profit margin !!! The bottle cost 45 chf ! I will never recommend this place to anyone ! I am happy I did not stay the night ! I am upset i did not manage to complain directly ! But again my grandmother was having a good time so we all did not want to ruin the day because of some horrible service and food ! Never again !!"

"Restaurant Romerhof is truly a gem of a place. When we arrived, I was instantly charmed by the friendliness of the staff. There was a ‘homely’ feel to the place. Our waiter (a lovely man from Seychelles) took our order. I ordered the crab salad,...which featured a tian and mango salad along with deep fried soft shell crab and sweet chilli sauce. It was simply divine. My main course was a Mauritian Chicken and Prawn Curry. It was a fantastic curry, and please, if you are reading this, don’t be afraid from ordering it if you are concerned about heat: it was aromatic, fresh and full of flavour. Chef Gerald came to our table a few times. He tailored the dish to me in terms of spice, and I’m proud to say that I walked away with a pot of his homemade chilli sauce that he kindly gave to me. My boyfriend’s dish was the Beef Fillet Steak and Mash. The mash was so smooth and buttery and he could have cut through his steak with a butter knife: a perfect choice for all of us meat aficionados out there. Desserts were sublime. The apple tart melted in the mouth. The cheese wagon was an absolute delight: with a selection of five cheeses, nuts, honey and fruit bread, all sliced and served at the table. All in all, I cannot recommend this restaurant highly enough. The price to some, may appear slightly dear, but in my opinion, our meal was worth every single penny. Thank you again to our waiter; Gerald and Dominique for a memorable evening, and we will certainly be returning again."
