"I love ice cream, and when I visit Barcelona, I regularly seek out local ice cream shops to savor the types and flavors. Recently I discovered Selvática, located on the Carrer d'Aribau, not far from Plaça Molina. It is a neighborhood shop, far from the waves of tourists that populate parts of Barcelona. The shop is no frills with counters, but no formal eating area. It offers pastries, coffee, and exquisite ice cream. When I was there I selected a scoop of Almond ice cream and Coconut ice cream. The flavors were superb, rich, and the ice cream has texture and body. The price point is reasonable. I also admired the pastries and other baked confections. Marvelous temptations. Its location may challenge some, but it is worth the bus ride or even walk (the street here rises toward the mountain area of Barcelona). The staff is attentive and helpful, very friendly. Definite place to take the kiddies too."

Helados con sabores muy diferentes. Les recomiendo el de caramelo, y no les recomiendo en lo absoluto el de fresa, tiene un sabor muy aromatizado como jabón

Se volvió mi heladería preferida. Tienen varios sabores y lo mejor: no son los típicos! Es accesible y tienen mucha variedad en helados veganos. 100% recomendado

Los sabores son realmente creativos: limón y albahaca, miel y sal, queso y guayaba. He probado pistachio y queso con guayaba. Me han encantado. Volveré seguramente.

Acabamos ahí de casualidad, nos llamo la atención la originalidad de los sabores y volvimos al día siguiente porque no paramos de pensar en lo riquísimos que estaban. 100% recomendable.

Hemos sido heladeros durante años, haciendo también helados poco convencionales como en Selvática, así que cada vez que vemos una heladería del estilo tenemos que probarla, y habéis sido los mejores helados que hemos probado en muchísimo tiempo, qué calidad de producto y qué trabajo bien hecho. No solemos pasar por vuestra zona cuando vamos a Barcelona, pero ahora nos veremos obligados. Enhorabuena, ¡seguid así!
