I visited this restaurant for the first time tonight with my friends, and I was truly impressed by the high level of professionalism. The service was quick, and the food was delicious. I have to mention that the tandoori chicken was absolutely incredible! I highly recommend this place to everyone.

eating is unbelievable and the portion sizes are huge and can complain about the price, at all that it is very reasonable. I never had a bad meal eating in or taking away it was always excellent. do not let them see from the few tables they see on the entry, there are more tables around the corner id very recommended a visit

I highly recommend this restaurant! The food was excellent, and the service was top-notch. I dined here for dinner, and my meal cost around £20-30 per person. We have been coming here since 2015 before we have been to the Himalaya (0wned by the same family) since 2007. Faz and his dad are very welcoming, accommodating and provide excellent service. Food is always piping hot and excellent and fantastic value, especially on Thursdays and Sundays. Me and my friend would not go anywhere else. A favourite at the moment is a lamb imli, a medium curry made with tamarind sauce. Delicious. We have Not had a bad dish on the menu.

Last night, I visited this restaurant again, and I must say it's the best curry in Whitley Bay. The service is excellent, and the food is amazing. The crab salad is a standout dish, and they even season their curries upon request, which is a clever touch. I enjoyed a large pint of Cobra beer, and the Argentine Malbec red wine is fantastic. To top it off, my meal ended with an amaretto served in a beautiful, heavy crystal glass. If you're looking for a great curry, this is the place to go—believe me, you won't find better. The management truly knows what they're doing. Cheers!

Absolutely terrible! Ordered online and was swayed by Google reviews but was incredulous when we plated up. We ordered a chicken dupiaza which turned out to be chunks of raw onion in a watery tasteless yellow sauce (no heat/spice/flavour). Hard/rubbery/tasteless chicken which appeared pre cooked and added. Rice was ok but again, pre cooked/reheated. Keema naan had kebab meat in in it!!! More uncooked onion formed into 2 greasy bhaji.... We were only a 10minute drive away and it was cold by the time we got back. With over 40yrs of experience and visiting numerous indian cuisine restaurant around the world, I return to the UK to experience the worst curry ever. I claim to be able to eat anythi...
