"It was the end of May, we were in England...it was obviously cold and wet. So even though all CURRYBOND venues should be within walking distance we lined up a couple of cars for our first CURRYBOND convoy! Seeing as our venue for this week is in the upper reaches of Tooting very much in Bec territory, we were happy to avoid the 20 min walk to The Gorringe in British Summertime 10 CURRYBONDs down, it finally happened, recognition. I had four. it wasn't bad, but the food is definitiw cooked with a wider public in the head than a few of the dishes I would have had more taste.

one of the largest Asian restaurants on zuting, large ambiente and perfect eating. much fun in comparison to charsi karahi her karahi was a hundred times better

Yuck yuck yuck! Worst indian food ever. No flavour and over cooked chicken. The chicken tikka masala turned up and was basically just a HOT PINK chicken stew. Do not eat here

Some really nice dishes, some a little unusual. The decor is a cut above local competition but standards do slip when they get too busy. The samosa chat is a personal favourite Visualizza piatti

Mid week Ladies night out, decided to meet up at this newly refurbished restaurant. Very impressed with the interior decor, ambience, friendly staff and overall good service. However, In my opinion, food lacks authenticity and was very average. Visualizza piatti

Food Poisoning! Beware! After enjoying a meal with some friends, we all wound up with a wicked case of food poisoning the following day. While the food was tasty, it's not worth it! I followed up with the management who was unhelpful and indifferent. Poor customer service. There are so many great restaurants in Tooting- avoid this one!

Possibly the largest Asian restaurant on the busy high road in Tooting (a part of London renowned for its multiculturalism and saturated with restaurants), Spice Village has been around for a while and is very popular with local Asian families. The interior has been refurbished, so the canteen style with fluorescent green walls has now been replaced with a Liberace-meets-car-boot-sale decor. However, it is the food that draws the crowds. A couple who were waiting for a table said the food here is ‘pretty authentic’ and ‘like food back home in Pakistan’.

"I was super excited to come to this restaurant as someone friends recommended it to us before and today we went to a friends birthday. I was extremely disappointed because my expectations were really high specially when the restaurant has 4.9 stars. The staff definitely needs some training as the service we received was shocking. First we were waiting for glasses to drink our sangria for a good ten minutes, then we ordered started and main and we were missing one of the starters we then said that it was fine because the lady that brought the starters to us insinuated it was our fault and stated she only had one in the ticket even thought the other guy who took the order double checked it. Then it was time for the mains everything came out apart for our food which he said was coming in a few minutes, we received our food after 45 minutes not only that but no one came to apologise to us and they didn’t even realised we were missing food. Which makes me think they were only focusing on cleaning and closing instead of taken care of the only customers in the restaurant. When my other friends were eating some people came and at that point we were told not to laugh for no reason. They got their food first so we were definitely forgotten and highlighted it to the guy. He was joking around and we didn’t even get a proper apology. The lady there was really rude and was very clear to all of us that she didn’t want to be there and that was really off putting. I don’t recommend this restaurant at all unless you want to be treated horribly."
