"The food went. The service wasn't overriding. We had the feeling that the owner didn't go fast enough to empty the place. Our assumption seemed to confirm when leaving the guest room, as then a note was made that some time is prepared despite the outcropping"Supplementary kitchen"no food. We could have told us this and we would certainly have made a little faster, but this intrusiveness unfortunately took us the pleasure of eating."

"2, die das andere Ende der Welt erlebt haben, kehren in die Heimat zurück und schenken ihr eine kleine Bar in richtig schickem Outfit. Hab nen Burger probiert- sehr lecker. Wenn man schon mal die Gelegenheit bekommt, sollte man natürlich auch mal das neuseeländische Bier probieren - und natürlich nicht mit einer deutschen Geschmackserwartung an die Sache gehen ;) In den Erinnerungsfotos an den Wänden kann man im Fernweh versinken oder sich am TV - bei Bedarf- die Bundesliga reinziehen. Der Service war sehr freundlich obschon noch ein kleiner Schulungsbedarf bezüglich der Karte besteht. Die Cocktails konnte ich leider nicht alle ausprobieren aber die Lynchburg Lemonade war auf jeden Fall mal lecker. Wenn ihr vorbeischaut, haltet Ausschau nach dem Kiwi! Kleiner Tipp: die Tür muss beherzt aufgemacht werden!"

"Small town pizza restaurants can be very hit or miss when it comes to the pizza. Everyone always have their favourite location and other places can never meet or exceed that. It's always a pleasant surprise to find somewhere that you would enjoy returning. Also...you can always tell a good place by the number of people eating there, and even though Picco isn't very large it was full. We had a nice meal and a bottle of wine with dinner. The pizza was a little different then one might be use to but it was good, and for mine with the hot peppers peperoni they had to be some of the hottest ones I have ever had on pizza which made it all the more better. Glad we stopped in and had the pizza"

"Beim Namen BRAUHAUS erwartet man ja schon eine gewisse Kompetenz bei der Zubereitung regionaler Spezialitäten. Diese ist hier leider nur begrenzt vorhanden. Das Wildschwein war trocken, die Pilze waren matschig- wässrig, die Specknödel waren zwar relativ fettig angebraten, aber wenigstens halbwegs schmackhaft. Bei der Grösse der Portionen ist auch noch Luft nach oben. Beim Nachtisch sorgten Sprühsahne! und unnötige Spritzer aus der Schokoladensaucenflasche für eine vermeidbare Verschlechterung des ansonsten passablen Geschmacks. Immerhin finden sich regionale Biersorten im Angebot. Besonders gemütlich ist das Brauhaus leider nicht und für diese Preise findet man in Oberwiesenthal sicherlich Besseres."

"eating and the ambiente were really great. only what I lack, what the restaurant used to make for me, are New Zealand products. especially New Zealand beer and whisky from New Zealand. Currently there is only one red and one white wein for 35, € the bottle that does not cost 10, € in the shopping area. that's been a bit of atrocities. but otherwise it was really great."
