"I went to the Sports Bar Grill as it was my birthday and I chose it specifically for its food aspect and with the added bonus of screens for the football. I ordered a burger and a Knronebourg and my wife had the cod and chips and a vodka and coke. We arrived as the match was just ending but that wasn't a problem, after the football finished they put on rock music and I think it was a tad too loud as trying to have a conversation wit my wife was quite difficult The food was really good and the waiter/waitresses were always in attendance, my wife ordered more cokes which came in tumblers rather than half or quarter sized glasses I booked using the tastecard and the bill was only so I added tip and paid and left. After we left I checked how much we saved using the tastecard and it was but I was a bit taken aback when I saw the prices of the cokes which were each which was a bit steep for a tumbler of coke as a vodka and coke was so for another my wife could have had a shot of vodka in her cokes Overall apart from the rip off soft drinks and the slightly noisy atmosphere it was enjoyable hour or so."

Perhaps if Open table booking was accept at the venue it would have been better ... turn up to be told yoyye open table booking booking was not valid suggest you liaise with venue to remove you service

Went for lunch and a few beers- had a great time. Very nice guy looked after us. One suggestion would be to enable each booth to be able to change its TV channel, though not sure how that could work logistically unless via a phone app.

Don’t book this restaurant through Opentable. They don’t want to honour the booking. The staff at the door are both rude and aggressive. This is simply a station pub They don’t accept children from early evening. Okay for Stag and Hen do’s maybe.

We booked a table here and on entering it felt as if we had walked into the North Pole. It was soooo cold and the air con was on full blast. We walked around and the temperature was the same everywhere. Most customers still had their outdoor coats on. We asked at the bar if there was any chance of the aircon being adjusted and were told no. So we left.

The venue was chosen because of easy access to Victoria bus station (with time constraints), and taste card was accepted .The staff were pleasant and helpful and service relatively quick, although we were there early, had it been later it may have been different as the restaurant was getting busier with passing of time.The interior looks a bit dreary with a need of uplift ,the toilets were clean with liquid soap and hand cream supplied! Fish and chips were very tasty and the food preparation is visible from the dining area.Personally I believe the desserts were limited lots of cheesecakes! however I opted for the biscuit ice cream (surprise) which was like large chocolate biscuits stuck toge...
