The other night, a few of my friends and I enjoyed a childhood classic - The Jungle Book - during a luxurious private dining experience at St James Court. The setting was outdoors, on a terrace with a stunning view of the fountain in the center of the picturesque Hofes des Hotels, surrounded by red brickworks reminiscent of scenes from Shakespeare's plays.

The Taj Hotel has joined the trend of offering unique variations of traditional afternoon tea. In addition to the typical sandwiches, scones, and cakes, they serve a 24 karat gold afternoon tea where the tea is adorned with decadent gold leaf. This special twist sets them apart from other restaurants that offer traditional afternoon tea options. While they do not include jewelry with every order, the luxurious touch of gold adds an extra level of indulgence to the experience.
