After my friend had raved about their doughnuts, we decided getting one each for breakfast would be a good idea.

These donuts are EVERYTHING!!!! They remind me why I love carbs so much. Not overwhelmingly sweet, so you can scarf down multiple ones. Definitely worth

The food at this restaurant is fresh and delicious, the atmosphere is relaxed, and the service is excellent. We are locals and definitely plan on returning!

This was our second St John restaurant experience after visiting the Smithfield location and we fell in love with it all over again. There's nothing pretentious in the presentation or atmosphere and the staff where lovely. We'll be back again for some more amazing food and wine. Visualizza piatti

Went to St. John Maltby while on holiday in London and it was a true treat. My partner and I had never eaten at a nose to tail restaurant before but we were not disappointed. Great wine selection, including their own personal stock, and it paired very well with the food. The highlight of the meal was the anchovy pâté on toast, great combination of flavors. But truly, everything was great. 10/10 would recommend!

We ate at St. John in Clerkenwell twenty years ago and couldn't see what it was about. We thought we'd try again as we were in the neighborhood of the Maltby Street branch. We ordered lamb that was so raw that we could not get our knives through them, while we would normally order meat rarely, this was simply unusable, so we had to send it back. The second time around them did not seem like the meat was cooked evenly. Our friend ordered the lemon sole, which was much more beautiful and well cooked, and the vegetable sides were beautiful. But we will not go back for a third visit.

We had the worst service in a long time at this restaurant, which ruined our evening. The manager did not acknowledge us as guests and our server was extremely slow. We had to repeatedly ask for everything from the beginning to the end, which was very frustrating. Although the food was delicious, there were issues such as warm wine, long waits for water and additional glasses, as well as delays in serving dessert and bringing the bill. The restroom was not on the premises either. This was a disappointing experience compared to other St. John restaurants. We will not be returning, especially since the manager ignored my concerns when I emailed them. Visualizza piatti
