The location on the St.JakobsPlatz is very appealing, and the coffee is as good as the location. My wife had tea, but neither of us had anything to eat, so we can’t comment on the quality of the food

Lovely and cute cafe close to film museum. Pfeffermintz is amazing and owners are really nice (we got a small chocolate egg for easter time). Nice especially if you manage to take a chair in front of the main window (to see people passing enjoying...the evening light).

I found this lovely place by accident, but so glad I did. They have a delightful quiet terrace outside, next to the Museum, with plenty of tables, some in the shade, some in the sun. I had a lovely pannini, promply served, and a couple...of wonderful Augustiner beers, my favourite!

It's in a lovely location opposite the synagogue with good outdoor seating in a quiet square. We came here for breakfast a couple of mornings whilst in Munich. It's a little expensive for basic breakfast items yoghurt and fruit, pain au chocolat, orange juice etc....but you're paying for the tranquil location I guess

the location was great, with eating outdoors on a well visited place. as a traveling middle age, however, we do not have to have appeared hip enough to provide them with good attention or service, and that eating was appropriate, but compared to the full of excellent foods in quite a bit was a disappointment. on the positive side, what can you do wrong with German beer?

We stopped in after visiting the Museum next door. The food was delicious, the atmosphere was energized. We saw the changing of the bar staff, and the two gentlemen who came in after PM, had the Bar area, cleaned, organized and ready for the...evening orders in about minutes. the city cafe used to have a nice, juvenile atmosphere, although the service was terrible. today it doesn't even make it. it is tired and sturdy and the service is the worst in the mouth. this seems not to be of interest to the owners. do not visit this caffe. there are alternatives. this place and his incompetent owners are not worth their money. leave it to the savoury mouths that are as unfriendly as the service. to avoid any price

I used to come here a few times on visits several years ago and on this recent visit to Munich I wanted to bathe in fond memories and decided to have lunch. I used to like this place very much, but I am afraid I...have to agree with the other reviewers that the quality of service (unfriendly, unattentive, slow) and food (dry and cold falafel, lukewarm coffee) has massively deteriorated, and this is no longer a place to recommend but rather to avoid. Really too bad, but this will have been my last visit.
