"I'm here on business, the room was booked for me. At first you are surprised to be standing in the middle of a restaurant with your luggage, but then you are directed to the annex. The extension appears to be an older house, probably half-timbered, but it is very modern on the outside and inside. Elevator is behind the stairs. The room is very spacious and well equipped. You can tell that the person who planned the renovation had very good ideas and spared no expense. The accommodation has excellent noise insulation, has a fresh air circulation system which, among other things, is supposed to feed the heat pump with the warm exhaust air and what I think is great is finally an accommodation with warm water circulation. If you are worried about the location about cars driving past or loud trains, I can assure you that you will hear little to nothing as long as the window is closed. The food in the restaurant is highly recommended. There are 2 cards, a wild card and an alternative card that also includes great dishes. Vegetarian options are also offered. The service is great, very friendly and reads your wishes from your lips. All in all, highly recommended and definitely worth the money."

"Wenn ihnen mein Name zwischenzeitlich bekannt vorkommen sollte: Ja, sie haben recht, wir haben's wieder getan und haben im Gambrinus einen perfekten vorweihnachtlichen Abend verbracht. Die charmanten Gastgeber haben uns fürstlich beschenkt. Mit weissen Trüffeln aus Alba, mit einem Roten aus der Toscana, mit einem Mistchratzerli (kleines Huhn tönt nicht gut genug! und vielen anderen guten Sachen. "Zuerst ist uns das tolle Fachwerk aufgefallen, dann haben wir entdeckt dass sich ein kleines verwunschenes Restaurant darin befindet, wir haben uns sofort darin heimelig gefühlt, die Deko haben wir teilweise daheim (Briefwaage, Bügeleisen und Wanduhr), da war eigentlich gleich klar dass hier kulinarisch alles passen würde, und es war auch so: gut bürgerlich und perfekt zubereitet, wir werden sehr gerne wiederkommen."
