"Our second visit to this cafe and more disappointed than the first so won't be returning sorry to say. The place, atmosphere was fine and the staff were warm, welcoming and friendly nothing was too much trouble. Pot of tea was ok too not like some of the cafes where tea is like dishwater!! We had a full English breakfast and most items were swimming in grease, esp the eggs and mushrooms. The hash browns were overcooked and my tomato was burnt on the bottom and my bacon was cremated it was like eating charcoal!! Not sure if there was an option to have a grilled breakfast with hindsight I probably should have adsked. Plenty of more eateries to visit in the area."

Staff are welcoming and friendly. Have only tried the fry ups and bacon sandwiches but they were Devine. Decent prices too. My new go too for breakfast!

OK…not fine dining but a really warm welcome for half a dozen sweaty and excited runners. Free chilled water, lovely coffee, teapots and China cups saucers went down well too PLUS speedy service. Will definitely be back with more of the Absolute 5️⃣4️⃣5️⃣ RunClub gang. Thanks for a top service.

Clean Friendly Atmosphere with meals cooked to order by a competent cook. Service is fast and the food is a described. A good reasonably priced menu typically British Seaside fare. Having found the Solent Restaurant will be returning regularly the footfall makes you realise that it is no longer Lee on the Solent residents best kept secret!
