fantastic eating, the personal was beautiful and attentive, we had the 3 curs lunchtime and (as a lot of not eat quality) we are filled after that! it is really a fantastic device! highly recommended!

I had a delightful meal as always, but I was a bit disappointed with the cheese board. It came with just three small pieces of cheese, some oatcakes, and chutney, which didn't seem worth the £12 charge!

We thoroughly enjoyed the food, but we would have ordered several more drinks if we had been offered. It's nice when staff check in to see if you'd like another drink when your glass is empty, rather than having to request one yourself. Sugar Boat is truly a hidden gem—a stylish bistro, café, and bar featuring four exquisite rooms on the upper floors. We visited on a Friday, and the atmosphere was lively, filled with friendly locals and a few other travelers like us. The food was exceptional, rivaling the best we've had in months. Each dish was beautifully presented, clearly made with great care and attention to detail. We visited Sugar Boat on August 5th. Our greeting was pleasant, although we were given the wrong menus at first. After being shown to our table, we noticed that all the chairs were dirty. We requested a quick cleaning, which was handled promptly, but it made us wonder why this had not been done beforehand. The food service and quality were quite good, which was a plus. However, we were disappointed with the condition of the restrooms. All of them are unisex and each has a bin for sanitary products, but they were all overflowing! The toilets hadn’t been cleaned either. Because of this, my wife was hesitant to use the facilities, and I completely understand her hesitation. I brought this issue...

Busy restaurant and a disappointing start ending up at the worst table in the restaurant beside the hatch where all the dirty dishes are dumped. If booking I would suggest adding a note not to get this table for dinner. 2 steak meals were warm at best and despite being sent back only the plate came back with more heat. One other meal was good and enjoyable. Great server who was helpful and tried to negotiate an adjustment to the bill at the end of the meal which started off with an odd suggestion for a reduction to the overall cost but we got there in the end.
