Excellent meal. Friendly staff. We were on holiday and it was just the job. Tasty king prawn dansak and chicken korma. BYO drink option was brilliant.

Women in 40DD, men in shorts flip flops, children running riot. I love this place, but wish the the customers put their children to bed at a decent hour.

Excellent meal, great service and a good price. The place is a Bring your own booze place but it is in the grounds of The George Pub, so, if you haven’t got any at home, you can buy drinks in the pub and take them into the restaurant

Lovely meal at the Indian restaurant in Wedmore. The food was excellent. I had King prawn dhansak; my friends had King prawn pasanda and chicken balti, which they both enjoyed. The service at this restaurant was extremely disappointing. The starters took a long time to arrive, and everything seemed very disorganized. We ordered water and soda for six people, but they were forgotten and never brought out. The poppadoms were also forgotten with the starters, which took 40 minutes to arrive. Additionally, we were charged for a kids meal that was never served. We are regular customers, visiting at least twice a month, and this was the worst experience we've had in the past six months. The kitchen and bar staff/waiters were incredibly disorganized.

On arriving at this restaurant 6.45pm (pre-booked weeks ago ,we was asked to wait outside of the establishment as a party of people had still not finished their meal. We was asked to come back at 7.30pm,of which we did but then was told yet again to return back at 8pm. Eventually we was placed at a table ordered our starters then waited. During our starters we was asked to order our main courses, the curries came out along with naan breads but only one rice had been served. On Holiday in Wedmore so decided to eat out at Table Eight. First impressions were great. Nice decor and everything looked clean and tidy. We were served promptly and the starters came in good time. We were asked if everything was okay and we started to tuck in. 15 seconds into the starters we were again asked if everything was okay, which we confirmed it was. I lost track of the amount of times we were asked if everything was okay throughout the entire meal. It’s very nice to check, but it became so frequent that it just constantly interrupted the meal having to pause our conversation and meal to say “very nice, thank you” every couple of minutes.
