"We chose this restaurant as a place to meet with friends last night. Although the food was good, we felt a little rushed. We still had several poppadoms left, when the waiter cane and asked if we'd finished with them. As we were paying for them, we felt we should be allowed to finish them at least? The restaurant wasn't overly busy, yet they started to remove plates whilst some members of our group were still eating. But the biggest disappointment I felt, was a service charge added to our bill!! We spent approx £266 on food and drink and each of us would have happily added a tip, but when we saw the service charge of nearly £27, we immediately decided no. Sadly, for that reason alone, we won't be returning to this restaurant. Service charges like that are rude, presumptuous and a sure fire way of putting people off. Most people are happy to tip. It would be far nicer if a place waited for this, rather than automatically adding their own."

Disappointing to say the least expensive. The coke I had was flat. The food was expensive and somehow tasteless too hot and spicy worst curry in ages . Up at 2.30 thirsty with stomach cramps avoid

As a party of 12 we visited last Saturday and the table was booked for 19.30.The service was fantastic, very attentive and friendly.Also,the food was superb and varied.I would not hesitate to recommend this restaurant.Top marks.

We haven’t tried here before but have eaten from the other Indians in Westbourne. Great takeaway. Excellent choice of food at a good price. Friendly efficient staff will definitely order from here next time as cannot fault the place and food was delicious.

While the food was superb, we were disappointed to find a 10% service charge added to our bill, amounting to £27. Considering that we would have happily left a tip as we always do, we felt this additional charge was excessive. Overall, while the food was excellent, we were not pleased with the service charge.

I just got a delicious Indian takeout delivered right on time. We ordered 2 yummy curries, 2 tasty rice dishes, and a cheesy naan for £24.50 - what a great deal! And if you spend £30, you get a 20% discount, which is amazing. It was such a treat after cooking for my family all week. Thank you Taj Mahal for always providing consistent, fresh, and hot food.

The restaurant offers excellent food cooked by an award-winning chef, with friendly and polite service. It also provides great value for money. The menu selection is extensive, and all dishes arrived at our table freshly cooked and piping hot. We will definitely visit this restaurant again when we are in the UK. Additionally, the restaurant has a top hygiene rating of 5. I have attached a photo of one of the many awards and certificates displayed in the restaurant, although the quality may not be clear as it was taken with my phone.
