"Bochum has quite a nice selection of restaurants and bars, considering it isn’t the biggest city. I live here and Tapas Restaurant is one of my favourites. The service is always wonderful and the food is always delicious. It has a very cosy ambiance inside for cooler or winter nights and sitting outside in the summer is equally as atmospheric with the flame heaters and tables set back from the crowds of the Bermudadreieck, perfect for people watching. The chorizo in red wine, Spanish Omelette, garlic prawns and aioli dip are some of my favourite dishes but the selection is massive and I’ve never not enjoyed anything, they also have German and English menus so great for when bringing English Speaking visitors. They chill the red wine which is the fault I can give based on my personal preference but the last time we dined here we ordered Sangria and it was tastier than the Sangria I had on a recent trip to Spain. We’ll back soon. Sehr lecker, wie immer!"

Unexpected happiness. Tapas at the highest level. Aioli for pure kneeling with nut bread, chicken in sherry and the highlight goat fresh cheese in rosemary honey. Very friendly service. If it weren't that far from home...

Had a business dinner here with a party of 6. The restaurant has a great atmosphere and the staff were very welcoming and attentive. The restaurant also has a large outdoor seating area, would be great when the weather permits! Bonus points for having an English menu! Between us, we ordered a selection of 15 plates from Prawns, chicken, stuffed mushrooms and potatoes. Everything was cooked well and tasted fantastic. A great option for anyone in Bochum. Will certainly return, especially for the stuffed mushrooms, they were great! The reason for the 4 star is that it is a little on the expensive side and the chairs were uncomfortable. Thank you!
