"Extremely friendly staff. We arrived without a reservation. Although busy we was assured a place would be found. We needed outside as there is a small step into the restaurant my husband couldn't manage. Still no problem and a table was sorted outside on the terrace. I am a regular curry diner, so was excited to try this restaurant that had mixed reviews. The service was impeccable!!. Starter of onion bhaji...we ordered 1 serving each and was told they are big!!!. So we went for 1 serving which was 2 very large, original style bharji.....fabulous!! Not had them like this for many years. Followed by a chicken vindaloo.. amazing!!!! Full of spices, and taste was mouth watering. Side dished with nann and pilau rice. My husband asked for a taste nit on the menu, and was promptly told...NO problem, of course sir. we had a bottle of wine, served by a lovely waiter who offered me to taste first...how gentlemanly. The price was excellent too. We waited a short time for our main course but was told it was because of my husband's choice, followed by an apology for the delay. In all a fabulous, tasty meal, good wine and priced not to break the bank. 1 word of advice.... book if possible before you go so you don't miss out on this little Indian restaurant gem. Many thank to all the staff who made our night exceptional!"

Indian restaurant very good and at good price. we loved: papado, samosas, chicken tikka masala, rice pilau and coconut bread. we will return safely.

We visited last night for a family of nine, it was for my in laws 70th. Service was brilliant and helpful. I would give this a 4.5 but it doesn’t allow. The food was very nice although the masala wasn’t as flavourable as all the other dish’s. Naans are big, rice is big, chips are tiny portions. Everything else was large portions.
