Got a latte with oat milk, it was kind of small but did the job, oat milk cost extra which always hurts my heart not gonna lie, not my fault i can’t digest dairy :

A lovely, relaxing visit. Staff accommodating, friendly and efficient. Met up with family, good drinks and tasty treats. Would recommend the peanut and salted caramel biscuit.

My son and I happened onto this adorable shop. The cakes and cookies are amazing. The service was kind and helpful. The shop itself is so relaxing which is what we needed. I would highly recommend this yummy tea shop.

Nice cakes and friendly serving. It is definitely worth it to walk the extra minutes from Grassmarket to avoid the tourist traps. It is not the most atmospheric of places but the cake more than makes up for it. Thanks to Simon for bringing us here.

We’ve been to Edinburgh twice, and been to Tasty Buns 3 times. The fresh baked stuff is delicious, and you don’t know what the new things will be. The hot chocolate is also immense! Stopped on our walk from hotel to Royal Mile and was blown away by delicious salted caramel biscuit (part of a larger biscuit fest selection) and cinnamon bun. Cappuccino was also top notch. The seating area was nicely decorated with paintings from a local artist and the staff was friendly and helpful.

We were SO impressed by this little bakery we stumbled upon. Amazing food and great price. The staff were super friendly and the food was so different and tasty. We had this amazing Mac cheese foccacia which I have been craving everyday since! Couldn’t recommend it highly enough, a must for anyone visiting Edinburgh.

Nice little bakery with really friendly staff. I love cakes so on my first visit I was pleasantly surprised to find they had a great selection of cakes which included daim cheesecake, rhubarb custard panna cotta, brownies, coffee walnut cake etc. You order at the till and they come to your table to serve the drinks/food. They also offer soups although we just wanted coffee cakes at the time. The coffee was pleasant and the coffee walnut cake was so light and tasty. The pistachio amaretti was also delicious.
