Taverna Bleu - Piatti

Dopo esserci seduti nel patio posteriore e aver preso qualcosa da bere, abbiamo deciso di andare altrove. Sicuramente l'aspetto per cui si paga è il prezzo, 5 euro per una Coca-Cola!

Chose to have our meal on our first night at our hotel, it was amazing, beautiful lake view, delicious food and wine and very attentive staff. The onion soup was stunning, a meal in itself, the mains of beef and salmon were equally lovely. Such a wonderful start to our Como experience.

A perfect lakeside location by the ferry quay. My son and his new wife arranged a small reception at Taverna Bleu. The chefs did us proud with a selection of cold meats a excellent pizzas. We had dinner here, wasn’t impressed by the food. We had kingshrimps which was pretty good, but the salad on the side was nothing to brag about. Also bread on the side was dry and chewy. Breakfast is good though, fresh bread and few but good cuts of ham, salami and cheese. Friendly staff, good service. Breakfast for 9 €, totally wprth it. Dinner is too expensive for the standard who is given.

Wow, il primo giorno che mi sono seduto sul bellissimo patio esterno in ghiaia, il mio cuore era così felice e la mia mente così serena che penso di aver risolto tutti i miei problemi in mezz'ora. Il posto è stupendo, con le onde del lago che purificano e accarezzano la mia anima. La vista è paradisiaca, potrei restare qui per sempre! Grazie Gabrielle, è stato un piacere conoscerti! Grazie al personale! Accogliente, cibo e posto FANTASTICI. Non vedo l'ora di tornarci.

Ottima posizione proprio nel centro del lago di Como con una vista panoramica del lago dalla terrazza della nostra camera. La camera stessa era spaziosa, così come il bagno. La colazione a buffet era inclusa e avevano anche un bel ristorante. C'era un servizio di traghetti disponibile vicino all'hotel, ma non molto frequente, meglio guidare fino a Menaggio per un servizio più frequente. Gli unici svantaggi erano la mancanza di un bollitore e tè o caffè in camera, così come la mancanza di un ventilatore o climatizzatore poiché faceva piuttosto caldo a giugno, probabilmente più caldo nei mesi di punta turistica. The place looked beautiful and conveniently located next to the boarding dock on the lake. Decided to sit down and order coffee only to be rudely asked to leave immediately by an incredibly aggressive owner. Any decency to the following exchange was immediately lost, despite the fact we had left the property, as he started to use Italian swear words, repeatedly giving the middle finger while screaming, all while others were watching in complete shock. We will take the appropriate consequences to deal with this, including the physical roughing up by the restaurant owner, but in the meantime wish to warn other travelers to stay away from this place at all costs. I stayed for two nights in this very pleasant lake-front hotel. My room was very large and the bed was comfortable. It doesn’t have air-conditioning and I found the fan insufficient to cool me down in the afternoon but I was unwell and wouldn’t normally have been in at that time. The view from the window was breath-taking and I loved watching the sunrise both mornings over the lake. It’s a great little spot to sit and watch Lake Como wake up and begin its day, and there are several nice walks around the hotel. Note that there are few footpaths in the nearby towns and as the day gets busier walking along the roads becomes more hazardous! I would not recommend the breakfast as it is not good v...

The day we travelled to this hotel it did not start of well so from travelling from 08.30 and arriving at 13.40 it had been exhausting as we had only travelled from Lecco , which is on the other side of the lake . Any way by the time we carted our luggage down the step entrance and over the gravel to the doors of Taverna Bleu we were greeted by a young man dressed smart with a lovely smile , he instantly took our luggage and straight up to our room whilst we checked in . The young lady was lovely and checked us in swiftly , now as l say it was 13.40 we asked about lunch as the last time we had eaten was 07.30hrs in our previous hotel .
