"Meine Eltern und ich haben uns zum Mittagsessen im Wirtshaus getroffen. Nachdem wir freundlich empfangen wurden, wählten wir einen Platz im Nichtraucherbereich. Es gibt die Möglichkeit draußen zu sitzen oder in einer geschlossenen Raucherlounge. Eine freundliche Servicekraft nahm gleich unsere Getränke auf. Ich entschied mich für "Frisches Blut". Das ist ein Mix aus Ingwer und Cranberry. Es gab das "frische Blut" auch in mehreren alkoholischen Cocktailvarianten, auf die ich wegen Fahrtüchtigkeit aber verzichtet habe. Meine Eltern entschieden sich für Spargel mit Rührei und da ich gut gefrühstückt hab, nahm ich nur einen Pinienkernesalat. Nach ca 50 Minuten kam unser Essen. Die Wartezeit bemängel ich aber nicht, ist nur ein Zeichen, dass nicht alles aus der Tüte stammt, wie es ja leider heutzutage oft üblich ist. Unser essen kam und war sehr ansprechend angerichtet. In meinem Salat waren viele Pinienkerne und auch meinem Extrawunsch "Wenig Öl" wurde entsprochen. Meine Eltern waren auch sehr zufrieden. Die Toilette war ebenfalls sehr sauber und die Idee vom "Getränketrennen" in der Herrentoilette fand ich sehr witzig. Wer gemütlich und gut speisen möchte ist hier auf jedenfall richtig."

"Sehr zuvorkommendes Servicepersonal, schade, dass kaum (deutsch) gesprochen wird... Bzw nur das nötigste. Essen war mega lecker. Mein Rindfleisch war suuuper zart. Das Hähnchen meines Mannes war würzig und nicht trocken. Toll! Die gebackenen Bananen auch hamma mega lecker. Kommen gerne wieder. Im Gastraum steht ein großer Tisch, der wohl den Aufenthaltsraum der Angestellten darstellt. Die Ecke sah aus wie eine Essecke im privaten Wohnzimmer. Damentoilette ist behindertengerecht ausgestattet. Alles sauber, aber nichts besonderes...ein Imbiss eben. Kartenzahlung und bar ist möglich."

"We were very disappointed by our visit to Café del Lago! My husband and I had reserved for us and his parents. And I'm telling you, if we had been alone, we would have gone prematurely.It began with the fact that we were not placed at the table that we reserved a week before personally after a common meal. We had reserved a table with beautiful view of the lake, we got a table with a view of the terrace, but not on the lake.We waited for our food exactly one hour.During the first 40 minutes we watched how the service staff plates wore around plates on the terrace also at tables that were occupied after we arrived and therefore asked for the first time when we will get our food. The young service was obviously very unpleasant and she said to ask in the kitchen. After another 10 minutes I asked again what was with our food. We were hungry!So right!!! we were dissatisfied when a couple who arrived around half an hour after us and sat down at the side table had already served their plates when we still had ours.The service force kindly apologised it changes but nothing that belongs to a good meal also a good mood. And our mood was bad now, so we couldn't enjoy our food. Even if the quality was okay. Not so good, but okay. The **** onions in the dish of my mother-in-law were almost raw, our mushrooms in the mushroom cream sauce tasted nothing. When we were asked if we would like to order drinks in the warm guest room after more than an hour, I asked if they would go to the house just because we waited for an hour. This was not possible because a waiting period of up to 45 minutes must be expected. Oh! That the couple arrived next to us, their plates already after max. 25 minutes, made for shoulders and embarrassing smiles.The beverage prices, e.g. 5,30 € for a beer, whether alcoholic or non-alcoholic are not favourable. On coffee and espressi, which otherwise round off a meal, we forgot and just wanted to go!There was no liqueur, coffee or anything else to finish as an excuse from the house. Nothing. Nothing. In addition, the bathing guests of the Salzgittersee in the bikini and swimsuits did not always have a nice view through the guest room to go to the toilet, which were perhaps not very clean, or in baths and underpants did not even order a beautiful view at the counter drinks.In the last two years we have been more often at the Café del Lago and were mostly satisfied. Do I want to eat there in future after this experience? No way this year!Later? I don't know. "
