Tessa's Tea Room - Piatti

Lovely cream tea in the late afternoon. Relaxed atmosphere. No pressure to push us out when they were wanting to close up.

Charming courtyard which was capturing the sun and a very good cream tea. Service was friendly and the other food all looked very appetising.

The food here is excellent. We enjoyed the soup and a Ploughman's lunch. The decor is quirky and the staff are friendly. I highly recommend having lunch here before visiting Dunster Castle, which is also excellent.

We stayed in the attached B&B and had breakfast here twice. Good breakfast selection cooked to order. We greatly enjoyed the pancakes. Milk is from a local dairy. Options to sit inside, on the street or the garden at the back.

Do not have their pasties unless youve got a cast iron stomach! The pastry is dreadful, wouldn’t want a piece to fall on my foot. Cost just under £20 for 2 pasties. Couldn’t even provide a receipt as card reader was not working! Visualizza piatti

During a visit to the castle (which is superb), it would have been a huge mistake not to detour here for lunch. It was so good, that we came back two days later for an equally delicious breakfast. An independent, family cafe at its best

We sat at the lovely tables outside the café, enjoying the charming atmosphere of Dunster high street. The cream teas we ordered were absolutely delicious - the scones were fresh and tasted amazing with jam and clotted cream. The tea perfectly complemented the whole experience in this delightful location.

We stopped at this restaurant for food and drinks while exploring the village. We sat in the charming back garden of the tea room. The service was friendly and the food was delicious. The prices were fair and the food was honest. My daughter enjoyed her fresh banana milkshake and a generous serving of crumpets. We also tried the fruit scones as the server mentioned they were freshly made that morning and they were delicious. We had a lovely cup of tea and coffee as well. This is actually our second visit here, as we remembered it from our last holiday in 2022. We decided to return and were not disappointed. It's a lovely place! Visualizza piatti
