A lovely greeting from a Staff member, the food came out super fast, was well presented and delicious and the view from the restaurant is amazing

Service was slow, food was good except for the four whole chillies I was unable to eat the meal as it was way to hot. We are very used to hot food, but this was overkill! All the other food was very good. However staff could have been more helpful.

amazing eating! it is a small place, but the taste is at point. we had the thai river platter to start and it was great with a beautiful selection. mins were the Massemann-Curry and Orange-Deck. both were great and we couldn't finish it. we'll be back soon! thanks for the great meal

Thai River is superbly situated in the heart of Durham with great views of the river, Castle and Cathederal. We celebrated our anniversary there and the food was top notch supported by attentive and prompt service from the waiting staff. We love Thai food and will definitely be returning soon!

We went here for our anniversary and the food was absolutely amazing. We got the platter to start and some chicken toast. The platter was huge and easily enough for two. We also got the best of 3 and a chicken teriyaki for the mains and they were both absolutely lush. We'll definitely be going here again!
